Tusker & the fleet industry has been lobbying the Government on the Benefit in Kind (BiK) increases for Electric Vehicles. We are asking the Government to bring forward the reduction in BiK from 16% to 2% for Electric vehicles from 2020 to April 2019.
... What is BiK?
This is the tax that is paid on the car. It is worked out using the P11D (car) value x BiK Band (CO2 + Fuel type) x Your tax band. https://lnkd.in/d3Fvfh7
There is now an online petition to ensure that this is debated properly in Parliament and we need to get to 100,000 signatures.
