We came for the Japanese night...the menu was incredible and I enjoyed every dish, was really nice to tey new things like lotus. Staff were really friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. Love the booths was just such a fun night. Staff also supported a charity event I am running which was just a mega bonus and made me really happy and continued my positive buzz and vibe for the journey home.

Visited this restaurant to celebrate my cousins birthday. We had been recommended Two Doors Down and we were not disappointed. Excellent food and very friendly, accommodating service. Highly recommend this place.

User

Visited a few weeks back with friends (including a baby and toddler) and enjoyed a lovely lunch. Food was delicious and really impressed with how child friendly it was.

User

Tried their food for the first time on Friday. A warm welcome, lovely cocktails and due to the fact we had no idea what to order we tried their £20 per person taster. After being a little dubious of what we would get, the waitress chose a lovely selection from their menu (tuna was amazing!) I was a lot of food, so be prepared! A lovely evening, would come again!

User

The food and service in this restaurant were both amazing. Two of our party were vegetarians and were really well catered for. The cocktails were also great and we were able to take advantage of the buy one get one free offer. A brilliant atmosphere and a fab night. We’ll be back!

User

So impressed with Two Doors Down last night. Amazing menu and service and the food and drinks bloody gorgeous. And even though I'm not veggie really impressed with those options it's good to see when a place offers vegetarians something different. Can't wait for an excuse to go back!

User

Our third visit here today with my partner, our baby, our dog and myself. The food has never disappointed, always something new to try, food came fast and was hot and tasty as ever. Staff were really helpful and courteous. Our dog was greeted with his own fresh bowl of water and given a lot of attention by the staff and all our requests were met including warming up the babies bottle. Great service and great food.

User

Normally would have chosen one of the chain restaurants at Gunwharf but son wanted to try somewhere new and glad we did !!!

Only ones there when we arrived but still decided to try.

All went for the taster menu to try lots of different things and that's exactly what we did! Service and food was excellent , loved it all . Was so full but still had to try the dessert with homemade chocolate and chilli ice cream - wow , delicious . We will be back and son probably even sooner than us when he returns to uni.

User

My husband and I had a deliciously vegan meal today at Two Doors Down. Tasty food, delicious cocktails, friendly and efficient service, lovely setting and to top it all off - dog friendly. This place is exactly what Southsea needed. I will be recommending to all my friends.

User

Lovely lunch for £5! It was beautiful and fresh and such good value!

User

I've been 3 times now & have no complaints. Stand outs were the Chimichurri Bavette steak, Chicken & Waffles as well as the Pork Bao Buns. Cocktails are all well made & the sharing option for the table was good value in my opinion. Service has been consistently helpful & friendly. I also really like the decor/atmosphere. Two thumbs up

User

I'll get straight to the point. The best food I've ever had in Portsmouth.

We had a group of 5, service was great and always with a smile. The food, Jesus, the food . . .

We had close to 15 dishes between us; going down the route of their £20 per head taster menu which, in my opinion, was excellent value for money.

We could not fault a single dish. Everything had so much flavour and was cooked perfectly. The only disappointment was my stomach for not being bigger.

To conclude, would definitely recommend and will definitely be heading back.

User

I ate here recently for a friends birthday.

The food was amazing, cocktails great.

Tentative staff. Highly recommended.

User

Had the most amazing time at Two Doors Down yesrerday! I loved how the humble belgian waffle (luikse wafel/gaufre de liege - to be exact) which really is a streetfood available in every Belgian city, was elevated to great heights by combining it with the scrummy duck! Could not fault anything in the taster menu and the cocktails were amazing too, don't ever take the lychee martini of the menu please! Service was second to none! We had such a good time, it took us s while to see that the 'open' sign had been turned to 'closed', but at no time were we made to feel we had to finish our conversation and go... can't wait to go again!

User

Great evening last night, Perfect relaxed service, food was fab, perfect food for enjoying with friends, vino & cocktails!! Loved that the cocktail menu was different & my espresso martini compared to the best (and I am an expert espresso martini consumer 😊). Definitely returning soon. Xx

User

Came here last night - specially for the 2for1 vegan dishes which in itself is a wonderful idea in support of vegan awareness month, there were so many wonderful options - the cauliflower wings in ginger and orange are to die for! the service was tentative and just all round a wonderful place to eat.

User

Best food we’ve eaten out in a while, will definitely be coming back - lovely relaxed atmosphere too

User

Absolutely phenomenal little tapas numbers, loved the Halloumi chips great sharing plates for an early valentines meal!

User

Taco Tuesday did not disappoint! Funky decor, trendy whisky tumblers and food that packs a punch! the pulled pork tacos were incredible and full of flavour! The fish tacos were as equally yummy - mango salsa was a great touch! The spicy beef ones were very tasty but definitely lived up to their name only slight complaint would be £2.50 for a can of San Pellegrino is a bit steep! Will definitely be returning to try out the Bao buns and halloumi fries!!
