Established in 1895 Two Steps is Quite Possibly the Oldest Chip Shop in Yorkshire! ! !

Two steps has been serving high quality, traditional fish and chips for over 100 years making it a well loved local landmark. Especially popular are the 'specials' consisting of a mini fish and chips with a side for only £2. 25! We are dedicated towards serving the highest quality food alongside traditional friendly Yorkshire service with a smile. The queues on a Friday night testify just how popular this little chip shop is - so why don't you pop down and give us a try yourself?!

Two Steps is open as normal tomorrow and Saturday morning and evening this weekend. We are however shut Bank Holiday Monday reopening on the Tuesday. We hope everyone has a lovely Easter!

Hello! Happy New Year! We're back open today as usua - 11.30-2 and 5-10!
🎄For Christmas we are open up until Friday 23rd night (get there early we're always super busy on the last day!) We're then shut for a week and a bit opening again on January 3rd morning. We'd like to wish all our customers well over the festive season! 🎄

Due to a power cut down Sharrow Vale Road Two Steps won't be able to open tonight as normal. National Grid have advised that the power may be off until at least 9pm. Apologies for any inconvenience.

Travelled up from Southampton for an event & after seeing great reviews chose to have a fish supper instead of dining @ Kenwood Hall Hotel. Knew it was the right choice when we saw the queue!!!
