Went with my lady and they made us feel like royalty. Food was astonishing and the setting was beautiful. Would 100% recommend to anyone. Service with a smile is always great. Thank you for treating us to a meal we’ll never forget.

We went last night. .great service, great food and excellent experience. All of the staff were very friendly and made sure we had a lovely time. The food was excellent, we didn't have to wait, it was served quickly and tasted gorgeous. There were seven people in our party and everyone enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

The food was really nice and the staff were very friendly and the interior is beautiful. Only issue is if you go on a Friday or Saturday night expect a wait on the food. We went Saturday evening and were waiting quite a while (an hourish) . The place was full to the brim so it was understandable. We where also offered a free round of drinks for the wait too . The food was worth the wait however and I can't wait to go again!

Some of the best food me and boyfriend have eaten in months. It’s a beautifully decorated place to eat with a relaxing atmosphere and wonderfully attentive and friendly staff. It’s a little gem and such a privilege to have it on our doorstep in wakefield. I think it raises the standard of our town’s restaurant scene. Highly recommend you pay a visit!

Went for a meal last Saturday evening with two friends and had a great time. The food was lovely, very efficient service and polite and attentive staff. Will definitely be back in the future.

Was seated and welcomed and given a choice of seats. Gud so far. Clearly still looking at menu when asked if we're ready to order. Waitress not sure of specisls. Food served ok. Only asked once if food ok. Not asked if want more drinks . Staff talking in a corner not mingling and checking tables ok .A positive did wait till both finished eating before clearing table. Asked for extra water not received. Positive thanked for our visit before leaving. Only little things but can make big differences �

Had fishcakes for starters..not sure they were fishcakes though!!! Had green curry for main was delish..lovely authentic inside, lovely staff..would go back definitely �

We visited here on Thursday evening for a double celebration and I was very under impressed. The staff were inattentive and slow with the service even though the restaurant was not busy. We had asked for water (at the time of ordering our other drinks) this never arrived and we were left with empty glasses for over 20 minutes, even after reminding the waitress!

The meals were ok but over priced.

We absolutely loved Thai on the Square. The set menu selections were always really beautifully presented and great value. These were plain and lacked any inspiration.

£93 for 1 starter, 3 mains, 2 rice and 1 ice cream with 3 drinks....

Definitely won’t be returning.

Incredibly poor service sadly let's this place down. The decor is stunning but the restaurant is extremely loud, tiled from top to toe, meaning we couldn't chat to the person opposite. The food looked amazing but sadly had been left under a hot plate for a while leaving it rather dry and tasteless. We had extra drinks added onto the bill and they forgot to take off our deposits we had already paid, which thankfully we spotted. I wouldn't be in a rush to return, most definately not on a busy Saturday night and certainly not in a large group booking as we did.

Food was great. What got to me was the lunch menu was outside 2 courses and there were no times on it. We asked if it was being served and she said no - take it down then?

Also I asked for a glass of prosecco when it came it was flat. I sent it back with the waitress who didn’t understand why I was complaining so I had to inform her prosecco isn’t meant to be flat. The second glass came which was obviously out of the same bottle as it was flat again. I was getting nowhere so decided just to leave it be. The meal was quite pricey £25 each for 1 main with rice, prosecco and some Thai crackers.

We visited on Saturday night in a party of four There were lots of large groups in and the staff were struggling to cope. We were shown to our table over half an hour after arrival and had to ask for two chairs for the table as there were only two seats at the table. The table was not set and we were sat right by the door. Our starters arrived after 9pm but we still had no cutlery on the table to eat them with and then had to catch the attention of a waitress to bring us some. Same again with the main courses. I could go on......... . To be fair the food was quite nice but the poor management and massive delay in service put a downer on night. There were lots of unhappy people as we leaving. It was like a scene from Faulty Towers!! This place has great potential and I hope they manage to turn it around but until you address your managememt and staffing issues I would not return.

Saturday night out birthday celebration with a party of 10. Whilst the restaurant decor is very attractive, this is really the high point of our experience. Front of house staff lacked any direction or leadership so drinks were ordered several times before they were brought to the table, no one was in charge or control and the service was a shambles - the main courses didn't arrive at the table at the same time and one of party waited until the rest of us had almost finished before her main course arrived. Other tables were served prawn crackers before their starters, ours never arrived even after several prompts.

The food was, in the main, ok although not particularly hot or flavourful and the King Prawn Pad Thai only had 4 prawns in it.

Overall we wouldn't return, there are much better, more authentic Thai experiences in Wakefield i.e. Malagor and if Tet wants to make its mark it needs to take note of the feedback and use it to improve.

Food was lush but service is appalling. Several requests for drinks, food an hour and a half to wait (and the restaurant was quiet). Wrong meals brought to table. Final meal arrived when everyone else had finished. Bill arrived with items on it we hadn't had (And not even the meals that were incorrectly brought to the table!). Made a complaint and the manager argued with my friend before eventually agreeing a small discount. Revised bill came and it was still incorrect. Would not go back and it's a shame as the food is nice.

Was there this evening to celebrate a promotion. Ordered an expensive taster menu.. we waited an hour & 15 minutes for the first taster (which seemed rushed) then a further 45 Mins until we decided to walk out. Was not impressed with the service at all, didn’t seem to have any management In control. Still had the nerve to make us pay for our drinks when we decided to leave!



Lovely restaurant with potential but will not be visiting again!
