Welcome to the Facebook page for Pre-Degree (FE) at UCA Rochester.
I hope these pages give you the opportunity to start a dialogue with those who already are enrolled on the course you have applied for. Or to start discussions with other individuals who have applied to FE at UCA Rochester.
Pre-degree at UCA Rochester is home to a vibrant degree and further education community. Working alongside Access to Higher Education Diploma, Level 3 Extended Diploma and Art & Design: Foundation Studies students; pre-degree gives you the opportunity to explore a range of art and design disciplines before choosing an area in which to specialise, making it fundamental preparation for entry to higher education courses in art and design.
Pre-degree benefits from numerous facilities, including a wide range of computers (both Mac and PC) using industry-standard software, a media store with cameras, audio /visual equipment and recording equipment to hire, darkrooms, and 3D design workshop facilities with skilled technicians available to support you.
Most Pre-Degree students progress to higher education courses at UCA. If you wish to progress to a degree course at UCA you can join our internal progression scheme during your second year. Your place on a UCA BA programme will be guaranteed provided you successfully complete your course and you will not even have to submit a UCAS form.
