Ucl Unicef On Campus

Hey guys! Soccer Aid for Unicef is taking place on Sunday 16th June at Chelsea’s Stamford Bridge, but, ahead of the game, we need your help to raise as much money as possible to support Soccer Aid’s work and bolster the public’s awareness of the game. Soccer Aid for Unicef has raised over £30 million since the first game 12 years ago and this year we want to raise even more money to ensure children grow up happy, healthy and safe. We are looking for volunteers to help us out for three shifts doing fundraising bucket collections across London on Tuesday the 11th June. Volunteers will be fully briefed before the collection day - this briefing will be broadcast online and recorded so you can view it at a time that suits you best.
We are also recruiting 20 team leaders who will be responsible for supervising volunteers in one of the locations and giving full collection buckets to UUK staff at the nearest drop-point at the end of the shift. Team leaders will either help out for a full morning (8-2) or a full afternoon (2-8). All volunteers will be entered into a draw to win three sets of pairs of free tickets for Soccer Aid for Unicef on Sunday the 16th June at Chelsea’s Stamford Bridge. Team leaders will automatically receive a free ticket. All volunteers will also receive a Soccer Aid for Unicef t-shirt. Unicef on campus society members are perfectly placed to fill these volunteer and team leader roles.
Due to strict limits on the number of people that can collect at Stamford Bridge we are not currently looking for match-day volunteers.

You will be asked to fill out a short application detailing your motivations for volunteering. If you are interested in being a team leader you will be asked why you think you would be good at this role.
