UCLan Motorsport are the student team behind the entry to the IMechE Formula Student event at Silverstone held in July.

Formula Student Event
Formula Student is a competition run by the Institute of Mechanical Engineers in partnership with companies including JLR, Mercedes AMG, National Instruments and Shell.
Attracting teams from across the globe, Formula Student challenges university students to design, build and compete with a small single seater racing car.
Formula Student will take place at Silverstone during July and will be attended by as many as 88 teams. Alongside four dynamic events including an acceleration test and endurance race, each team will be judged by a team of professionals on the aspects such as the quality of their design and costing of the vehicle. University of Central Lancashire
The University of Central Lancashire has a substantial engineering department with a wealth of expertise.
Formula Student is undertaken as part of the Motor Sports Engineering course.
