Ok boys and girls, it's coming up to Christmas and that means one thing MANCHESTER CHRISTMAS MARKETS ARE NOW ON. Last year we went and it was a lot of fun. So were going again on the Sunday 4th of December. The mini-bus has been booked and will be taking us from Harrington car park. There are only 17 spaces and at least 6 are taken. It will cost £5 but that is a return trip to Manchester and a full day there. If you want to come then comment on this and I will get back to you.

Ladies and Gentlemen it is the great privilege for the Nursing Society to announce it's first social event of the new academic year. The rumours are correct it is our favourite social...... BOWLING! The venue is Lakeside Bowling a ten minute walk from the union. We are meeting Wednesday on the 28th Sept from 7pm with bowling to commence around 7:30. Your committee members will be around the bar area and should be easy to spot. The venue address will follow this message. Hello there fellow student nurses! everybody here at Nursing Society Headquarters would like to wish you all the very best for the forthcoming year (and for those mid year intakes, carry on having fun!) We will be having a table at this Fridays Society Fair, newcomers and old timers please come along and say hello we welcome everybody... and because we love you all so much a whole years membership will be.....wait for it..... £3! Yes, that is right 3 whole english pounds!

Nursing Soc 3 Peaks Challenge is on! We have a 15 seater bus and need to fill it with challenge enthusiasts, no prior experience req'd - its going to be an awesome weekend! Burn some serious calories and raising cash for charity. Starting on Sat 14 May we'll head down to Snowdon, come back for ScaFell and Finish on a high, up Ben Nevis, back in Preston Sun afternoon.
