The University of Central Lancashire Students' Union exists to represent and provide support and opportunities to UCLan students.
It is not-for-profit, and being student led means that our vision is clear: "Making Life Better For Students. "

Essentials will be closing from Friday 26th July for a month as we refurbish the shop.
We’ll be modernising the space and making it easier for you to grab a coffee, food-to-go or a meal deal. Plus, we’ll be introducing a super exciting zero waste initiative which you’ll soon be able to get involved in as it’ll be one of our new Inspiring Projects!
Thinking about what to do for your lunch in the meantime? Don't worry, The Atrium is still open (8am-3pm) throughout the summer with; hot food options, sandwiches, snacks, Krispy Kreme and of course Starbucks.
One of the key areas we focus on as a Students' Union is supporting you. Over the last year our amazing small team of advisors and student-staff receptionists have been a central point in supporting over 1800 students and have helped gain a massive £328,248.57 (yes!!!) for students.
The Advice Centre is a free, independent and confidential service which can support students with academic, financial, welfare benefits, employment and housing advice.

That's why here at the Students' Union, we're proud to be a third party reporting centre for Hate Crime. If you ever witness or experience any form of hate incident or crime, you can report it in confidence to our Advice Centre. You can even do it anonymously.

Over the last year, our sports teams have had some amazing moments and achievements. Obviously there was the Varsity win (😏) but some of the teams went on to win trophies, medals or even go unbeaten.

We're pleased about the progress made, but there’s more work to be done and the Students' Union will continue to work with the University to ensure improvements continue to be made.
