This is one of my favourites! The chef brings traditional Japanese with European flair and excitement, just outstanding and extremely creative! The staff is incredibly friendly and a true dining experience. A "must" in my opinion.

The place is in one of my favorite neighborhoods in London,Notthing hill.Our hotel was in Kensington and it's a pleasant walk to get there.

Nice bar with a wide selection of innovative cocktails and tables around it.

Very friendly staff and the head chef Alessandro is very knowledgeable,personable with great attention to detail in all the food he prepares.

I would recommend it to anyone in the area to stop by and enjoy some sushi,also prices are reasonable for London.

The food was delicious and the staff were helpful when suggesting vegan options from the menu. Food was attractive and tasty and the Kyoto style mojitos were the best I've ever tasted!

The atmosphere here is lively and friendly. Great live music. The cocktails were a work of art. I had a Moonwalk, which is a wonderful champagne cocktail. So pleased we came upon this place, and we will be back.

One of my local bars. I used to go in there when it was the Irish bar. when UKAI took over; I was against it at first; but everything from the food, the staff the entertainment and the décor makes this an amazing place to chill out. I will be back; well done to the owners; keep it up

Nice atmosphere, the whole venue it's lovely decorated, even the toilets were cute. Top rated becauce of the service though! 👌🏻

Food was superb, we left absolutely nothing in our plates. On top they had a chilled blues band playing from 6'ish -we had dinner on a Sunday... and I saw they do jazz on Saturday nights!!-.

Lovely food! We did the lunch offer which was great value. Lovely wine and the guy who waits the tables was so friendly and really added to our experience here. Others in the restaurant had dishes which looked stunning, I want I go back and try them all! Overall the food couldn’t have been better, and the service was great. What more could you want?

Great Asian food and great atmosphere, it is worth a visit if you are around Portobello road.

Fantastic food. Every morsel of food was completely enjoyed. The duck and sizzling filet of beef were truly spectacular. The scallops too perfectly seasoned, literally melted in your mouth. Also the music was fun and funky (kind of a 1980's classic rock vibe). Service was good, but timing on food delivery seemed a bit off at times. EXCELLENT choice for dining.

Been here 3 times now with my partner, first time was 18 months ago, was our first ever date, that we fell apon this place by chance. Loved it then with its vibrant feel, good music, crowd and food.

Back yesterday to celebrate my Birthday, again did not disappoint....great food and music with a soul/jazz vibe was great.

Anyone in that area on a sat looking for entertainment with good food etc look No further.

Absolutely suggested. Live music (not too loud) , cozy, abundant portions, signature plates on the menu which deserves a go.

Stopped in for a drink and bite to eat after walking all day at Portobello Market. The outside of the building was decorated beautifully and that is what pulled me in. Pleasantly surprised to find a great Jazz/R&B/Funk band playing. Ordered the "Fig in Japan" cocktail - absolutely fantastic! The home made fresh lime and ginger syrup made sure it was not overly sweet. For my bar snack I had edamame, which was enough for two people and the pan seared scallops (4), were cooked perfectly. Decore inside was very nice; it was pretty crowed and loud which could make it hard to talk if you are there with friends. I was flying solo, so was not a big deal for me. I will stop in again when I'm back at the market.

ordered delivery through Deliveroo, sushi was not good, didnt look fresh, had salt and pickles added to it (say whaa..) and also one of these rolls was insanley spicy.

edamame was rotten! and I'm a bit vexed that this Ukai combo thing with a miso soup cost like 21 quid and they sent this. wont order again

These people are a total joke. I ordered an hour and half before and called them before they told me the order was on its way. This tuned out to be an untruth

Please avoid at all cost. Terrible ....
