Calling all UKC Students: Join Kent's fastest growing society and share your passion for tea!
Interested in meeting new people over a cuppa and cake? We have regular meetings with a new tea to try each time! Come and join us to learn the intearesting differences between Lapsang Souchong and Assam, meet some lovely new people, and have a fabulous tea time : D
Grab a mug and swing by a TeaSoc Meeting - your first one is free! Membership is only £5 for union members (£6 otherwise) and with that you get access to amazing perks - new and exotic teas to try, society meetings and merchandise, and our amazing Social events.
We hold frequent and fabulous themed socials, serving a full cream tea for all members. Our past themes have included a Teddy Bear's Picnic, Alice in Wonderland, and Speed-dating! Costumes are greatly encouraged, the more creativitea you show the better! !
The hectic life of a student can be tough. Find time to relax and unwind over a cup of tea with us - there's really no excuse not to join one of the friendliest, non-alcoholic, and fastest-growing Societies on Campus!
**Please note** We are often approached to serve tea at events, which we love to do for both the love of tea and promotion of our society, however we will only consider doing this on a case-by-case basis for friends of the society. We are not free caterers ;)

Hi all fellow tea lovers, Apologies for the lack of communication and availability at fresher’s fayre. Our first meeting should be coming up soon, however we are just waiting for room booking confirmation. Once we have that we can let you know when and where it will be. This society will be running this year and is a great opportunity to chill out and share a cuppa with many likeminded people. We shall also hopefully be having our first social soon too, going to one of the great tea rooms or cafes in Canterbury, of which there are many. Thank you for being patient! Hello Tea Lovers! This term we will be holding our meetings every Tuesday from 18:30 - 20:30 in the Rutherford JCR. We will also be at Refreshers Fair tomorrow for those of you who wish to find out more or sign up. Hope to see you all tomorrow!

Tonight is our first taster session! If you don't fancy going out tonight the Tea Society is a great place to meet new people! Come and have a chat over a cup of tea and biscuits. We will be in the Rutherford JCR from 8pm-10pm. Please bring your own mug and we look forward to meeting you all!

An email was sent out earlier with details of our taster sessions to those of you who signed up at Freshers Fair. For those of you who haven't received and email and would like to then please send us a message with your email address and we will add you to the mailing list.
There are two taster sessions that will be held for you to come and see what the Tea Society is all about. The first taster is tomorrow from 7pm in the Rutherford JCR. It's a joint social w...ith the AYNDM Society for a games night (tea and biscuits will be supplied). As we are unsure of numbers we would like to ask that those of you who would like to attend please bring your own mugs.
The second taster is this coming Thursday from 8pm-10pm in the Rutherford JCR.

Afternoon Tea People! MEETING TONIGHT AT 18.30! Lots of things happening with us over the next few weeks.
Firstly, IT'S SOCIETY ELECTION SEASON! ... This means you can nominate yourselves for committee roles for next year using the link below. Full details are on the email that's gone out to everyone. Speak to us if you have any questions about running. It's incredibly easy, fun and flexible and so we encourage EVERYONE to run!
Next week we have our Japanese Tea Ceremony, which will be both fun and educational for everyone, so do come along.
The week after is our final meeting of the year! (Super sad!) We'll be having our annual Mad Hatter's Tea Party on this day, which will be a great event and hopefully everyone will be able to take a couple of hours out of their deadline mania to come along.
