I have recently purchased a reconditioned Dyson vacuum cleaner from UK Vacs and would rate it as excellent. It came with a new motor and numerous new parts that makes it look and operate like a new machine. It is excellent value for money and comes with a 12 month guarantee. The sales and after sales service, which includes free delivery, is also excellent and I have no hesitation in recommending this company to others.

Great service. Repaired my dyson promply and reasonably priced. Hoover came back like new. The owner even carried it to the car for me as I was parked quite far away and had a pram to push aswell. Would def recommend.

Just a quick thank you to UK Vacs a Chapeltown, once again saved the day with my Sebo. They were fast, friendly didnt cost the earth and when I picked it up it had been cleaned! (hardly recognized it) Second time I've used you and very happy on both occasions with both hoovers!!

So I received a phone call to ask if I had written a review on this website as they disagreed with it! And looking from other reviews it appears they think i am responsible for those reviews so I thought I best write an honest review.so I took my dyson to be repaired here in the middle of September 2016 (the suction stopped ) I explained I have thick carpets and I thought one of my children had hooved up a spilt drink. It took around 3 weeks to which the company did liaise with me regarding this.

I was then advised that the hoover was unrepairable and it would "cost a fortune" to repair we decided to go with their recommendations of one of their reconditioned hoovers with 12 month warranty= result. So after 2 week of having the reconditioned model it stopped working the bottom part would not spin. I took this back and they had the hoover some time. I was then telephoned and asked if I had written a review on here to which I was like no I hadn't. I was then told if I was u happy I could "borrow" a hoover. I was given a very old vac hoover but it did the job. When I telephoned the man in regards to the progress of the repair I was told it was an electrical fault and told I use it for "heavy use" reference to this is in the response on the review below that they clearly think is myself. I then indicated I have 4 children and only have carpet upstairs. How is this heavy use?! And the nails comment I have no idea what they are on about. So after 3 week with their borrowed hoover over Christmas and changing the fused in this 12 times yes 12! I decided enough was enough as the hoover they borrowed me was fusing out and tripping my electric. In total they had the reconditioned hoover nearly 6 week I was then told it was the same electrical fault as the one before but miraculously it was mended the following day and the lady in the shop showed me the issue?! I personally think they wanted more money out of me and after speaking with other customers it was confirmed that the company have poor customer service as can be seen in response to bad feedback on here. They keep the hoover a long time to add pressure to you purchasing another. Then make pitiful lies up with regards to " heavy use" I don't live in a ware house how can cleaning upstairs be heavy use?! Anyway I will not be using this service again and they returned my dyson back to myself with no suction. I feel this was in spite as they assumed I had left them bad feedback when as a matter of fact I hadn't! I have warranty still but I don't want to attempt to try and resolve this issue with uk vacs as I feel dehumanised by them. Use with caution would be my advice or better still go else where over all I am disappointed that I am out of money and fearful to take the hoover to be repaired from the hostile aggressive manarisms of the owners kind regards Lisa

Where do I start??? I ring no answer when man answers he sounds like he dislikes his job position, I am constantly told I will be telephoned back?.. still waiting for a call back days later... basically my Hoover purchased from here had warranty (12 month) broke after two month by the time they agreed to solve this was 3 month into guarantee waited 5 week for a repair when I rang to check progress excuse after excuse! Ended up asking for my money back to be told this was not their policy and given a downgraded version of my hoover, when I asked about guarantee they told me I had six month left!!!! So the time they kept the Hoover compromised my guarantee?.. atrocious service from staff who appear to dislike their job I would not recommend to anyone I question how they still trade? I will be taking the matter further. Rose service I have ever received and their time scales for keeping an Hoover is ridiculous

Terrible service took my Hoover to be repaired took a week for them to say it's not fixable! Bought one of their reconditioned hoovers broke after 4 days!!! Took it back took 13 days for them to say it's broken and offered me £50 towards buying another one of theirs!!!!! Avoid at all cost!

Absolutely fantastic service, even though you don't usually install washing machines. Thankyou very much for being so obliging.
