Service & standards are usually high here & in recent years it has grown. Mainly was service, repairs, MOT, recovery, forecourt fuel & vehicle hire. It now has gone back into new & used vehicle sale's.....
.....however I can't understand why some people would write a negative review after being told their car needs a new engine ! £3500. Is about right for the average engine even if your car is only worth £2000. As for £33 for a mechanic to come & look at your broken down car...yep that's about normal for most places I'm afraid !!
As for price of parts, these can differ wherever you go depending make of part I'm afraid. As for if you can find somewhere cheaper.....I think you have answered your own question !

This garage sells LPG for cars and can do maintenance on them as well. Unusual in Cumbria. Good find. Good friendly service. Nice people

Omg lpg very expensive and they charge £5 as a service charge . They don't do anything fir the £5 you have to fill up yourself . Crooks ! Would not recommend at all . Was explained to me that the lpg is a real pain to them so that's why they charge £5 . We will not be back for sure

Holiday Makers Beware !!!!
Can i give 0 stars ? We were charged £33 for them just to look at our car. To be then told that the exhaust mounting kit was needed at a cost of £123 fitted only to be told once he had done this that the problem was in fact a blocked catalyst . Which yes did cause the exhaust on the head to blow and make a hissing noise but a good garage should have figured this first time round before before starting work surely ? We were then quoted over £300 for a new exhaust system or £120 to De-cat it . So i said i'll just have my car back and De-cat it my self for £30 on our camp site with basic tools . Full fix cost £91 when i got home (new catalyst and pipe) . Think as we were on holiday they just saw the money as we where stuck in the lakes with out our car.
