Like many companies, we’ve had to adapt and some of our employees are working from home! 🏡 This brings lots of new challenges so here are our 5 top tips for working from home:
1. Get comfy! - Creating a workspace at home is crucial. Whether it’s designating a room that will now become your office or setting up an ironing board as your desk, it doesn’t matter! 📚 As long as you have established a set workspace, that’s both comfy and functional, you’re on the path to success. 😉 ...
2. Keep to a routine! - It can be really easy to lose track of time, stay up late and fall out of a routine. It’s important to keep your day structured, get plenty of rest and commit time to work. 💤 The beauty of working from home however, is you can be flexible and set a routine that works best for you and the hours when you’re most productive! ⏰
3. Dress for success! - 👔 It may be pretty comfy to work in your PJs, but getting up and getting dressed not only gets you psychologically ready for work but also keeps you prepared for any last-minute video meetings! 📲
4. Limit the distractions! - There are far more distractions to encounter at home than in the office. From TVs to significant others, it’s crucial that you can work away from distractions. 📺 Focus on getting things done, and then enjoy some relaxing time. 👍
5. Stay healthy! - Working from home is likely to mean you’re going to be a lot less active. During this time, it’s really important to keep our immune systems boosted! Make sure you still exercise, stay active and eat well! 🍏 Avoid endless snacking and eating out of boredom and make sure to stretch regularly. 🧘🏻‍♀

Dr Yvoni Kirmanidou is a specialist prosthodontist and aesthetic dentist who qualified from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece in 2013. 🇬🇷
She initially worked as a General Dentist in the Greek Army and with private specialists in prosthodontics and implantology. 🦷 In 2018 she completed a three-year specialisation programme in Prosthodontics and acquired a Master of Science degree with research focusing on dental implant surfaces and biomaterials. 👩🏻‍🎓
