We are moving! Our Oxford clinic is relocating, but don’t worry: we aren’t moving too far!

Went for an early dating scan at the beginning of my pregnancy at the Southampton clinic, the sonographer was lovely, very reassuring and answered all of our questions- we were both very nervous first time expectant parents. After this experience we went back for a gender scan with our family, I had myself and 6 guests- big crowd! I phoned up beforehand and the receptionist reassured me that bringing that many people was fine. We had a wonderful experience, it was so special to have all our family there to find out we were having a baby girl. The sonographer interacted with all my family, answering their questions and having a laugh with them when they were making bets! We all found out the babies gender when she wrote it on the screen. We had the best day. The environment is so relaxing and special, completely different to NHS experiences we’ve had. Well worth the money. We’re now looking to book our 4D scan now! Thank you everyone!

I have been visiting the Leamington Spa Centre for my scans and I am pleased with the expertise and professional conduct of the sonographer Julie Doubleday. Have to also give special mention to the receptionist Sharon. She has such a pleasant and sunny disposition, very nice and chirpy lady! Thumbs up to both Julie and Sharon.

I booked my gender scan in Market Harborough just 2 days before the appointment which was fantastic - not too much waiting!

The sonographer was really lovely and gave pictures to my older 2 children to help them spot whether we were having a boy or girl on the screen! She explained everything really nicely and pointed everything out to us. It was an all round lovely experience, thank you!

We went to ultrasound direct for a gender scan. When we arrived we were told that we were not on the list and subsequently waited well over our appointment time. The receptionist was completely unapologetic and insincere. It completely ruined what was meant to be a special day. We were not the only ones experiencing problems as there was a waiting room full of unhappy customers. Would not recommend.

The service provided by Ultrasound Direct in London-City is not acceptable at all:



· The staff are not helpful or patient: the sonographer, Marzieh Abbasi was not helpful, appeared negative/discouraging very quickly, wouldn’t want to try her best to law it work; the operator, Jessica, appeared very unhelpful, impatient and rude; the assistant, Monica in the clinic didn’t try to help at all.



· Ultrasound website said the customers will be provided a USB stick with images and video clip for movement. However, there was no video clips taken at all and Marzieh rejected to offer me another chance to go back to take video clips.



· Nobody from Ultrasound Direct explained in advance to me that there is only maximum 3 chances for scan and there could be a chance that no images or video clips can be provided. I didn’t see such statement in Ultrasound Direct website either.



· There is no transparent complaint procedure/policies provided to customers by Ultrasound Direct – the company/staff made it super difficult for customers to provide feedback/complaints to the managers or senior management team who can make decisions. The customers can only talk to assistant or operators who can only tell the customers that they cannot make decisions and they have to email the general email address – however, there is a big chance that the customers will never get response.



· After I raised a formal complaints to the email address they asked me to use, nobody responded to me.



· I tried to contact the founders, Mike and Jan Steward to raise the complaints via LinkedIn, twitter and guessing their company email addresses and they ignored complaints as well!



I have never seen a company like this, which makes communications so difficult.

Gave me incorrect results, told me my baby had a 1 in 4 chance of having downs syndrome when in fact actual result was 1 in 2500. All because the lady filling in form was in a rush to leave. The stress this company has caused me is unreal. Avoid at ALL COSTS.

If I could give zero stars I would. No offence to the two ladies who actually conducted my 4D scan as they were lovely people. But I got no images because of my baby being Breech. Instead I was left worried as I was told that there is an issue with the babies umbilical flow and that the baby was slightly small. I was advised to call my midwife to get this seen to. I was also advised to reschedule for another scan hoping baby had moved by then. Unfortunately, I was offered an appointment a week or two later which was at 34 weeks (the end of the scan opportunity). After seeing the doctors regarding the issues I then had to be closely monitored meaning I had many appointments that were high priority.



I had rescheduled for the 4th Jan but this then clashed with my consultant appointment which the hospital could not change. Obviously, seeing the consultant was more important to me than a 4D scan.



I rang the company up to ask for a refund but all they could offer was £10! Now I paid £99 for a package whereby I was left with nothing but two rubbish images that showed babies lips and nose as well as leaving me worrying!



After emails were sent back and forth I was told that I could go back for a growth scan which I found was pointless as I have to now have these done (for free) at the hospital which are more accurate.



They’ve now told me I cannot get anymore of a refund and that the matter is now closed! Angry Mum to be here!

Appointment cancelled an hour before the appointment time due to the sonographer being unwell, unfortunatly we had already got half way to the location by this point, I fully understand people get ill and empathise with this but the alternative options given to us were very poor and a great distance away, I would not book again or recommend this company to anyone, We did manage to contact an alternative company brayford studios working out of spilsby lincolnshire and they provided a great service for us at short notice after normal working hours, they also allowed the family members that had taken time off especially for the day to come to the scan also. In summary...i would not book with this company again .... i would book with brayford studios all day long. Regards Jon
