Wonderful play in a in intimate theatre, excellent story and top acting. Box office staff so helpful on the phone when booking my national rail days out promotional tickets, really affordable and magical experience for the children. Actors so close up they were enthralled and the program was a colouring in games sheet, designed to reinforce conversation about the play. Children are 3 and four years old but us grown ups loved it too. #seesaw

Wonderful adaptation of _The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark_ at the Unicorn Theatre in London. I came to the show with my four-year-old daughter, Tali, who doesn't speak much English (we're tourists on vacation from Israel), but still enjoyed herself immensely -- as did I. For me, the show had an almost poetic quality to it, and I loved the way it stimulated the viewers' imagination. We were also very impressed by the friendly and helpful staff. I strongly recommend this production, and will look up the Unicorn's events the next time we plan a trip to London.

User

While in London this weekend we went to the Velveteen Rabbit. We love visiting the theatre and teaching the kids to love stories, live shows, the arts. Congratulations to those wonderful people who brought such fabulous prose to life. This weekend we also taught the kids what a standing ovation is. Superb children's theatre. Thank you cast and crew of the Velveteen Rabbit.

Went to see Boing with our 2.5yr old girl today! It was the first time she sat in one place for 50min with full concentration. It was beautifully done and entertaining for the parents too! I highly recommend!

User

We went to the baby show which we loved! My 1 year old son sat watching the actor for the whole show mesmerised except for a little sway at each song. Great first theatre experience thanks!

User

We came to see The Velveteen Rabbit today and what a brilliant show it is. So engaging, beautifully told with wonderfully animated performances. I love the physical theatre you so often get when performances are aimed at children and this was no exception. Several instances of gasps echoing around the auditorium and definite moments of concern and delight. Another wonderful production at the Unicorn.

User

Watched Baddies the Musical yesterday with my 7 year old and 5 yr old- fab show, I really enjoyed it along with my daughters. My youngest was a bit scared in places but the staff were really nice, letting us pop in and out as needs be and the big bad wolf said sorry! Highly recommended - great show, great theatre

User

Took my friend and my God daughters to see "The Owl who Was afraid of the dark" today . It is based on the book I have loved since I was five years old and the show didn't disappoint!

Congratulations to all involved and I highly recommend you catch this soon before it closes in November if you have children aged 2-8 years . Enjoy!!!

User

Such a lovely place to discover. I brought my 8 year old son to see Jason and the Argonauts as he's been studying Ancient Greece and he was so inspired by it that he wrote it all out in the form of a diary for this week's homework. All the staff we met were really friendly and the facilities are fantastic. Was great to have th question and answer session with the cast after the show. Loved the little play area, low down sinks in th toilets and beanbags in the foyer...such a brilliant place for children. There don't seem to be any bad seats either...ours were "restricted view" but we could see just fine. My son is already planning his next trip as he'd like to bring a couple of friends to see The Iron Man for his birthday. 100% recommended!

User

Saw the Minotaur with my 7 year nephew and he found it thrilling and exciting. He was a little scared of the Minotaur at the beginning but the involvement of the audience children was a great opportunity for him. I thoroughly recommend it. The cast is 4 people but the quality of acting is excellent and in fact a play for all ages.

User

Saw Beowulf today and was blown away bu the actor. One of the best pieces of theatre I’ve seen and absolutely not just for kids. Highly recommend.

User

I’ve been being my son here since he was a few months old.

We’ve never seen a show we’ve not loved!

Brilliantly put together, well organised and staff fantastic!

Thank you for so many happy memories!

User

I've been to see The Baddies at Unicorn theatre yesterday and my twin sons were totally enchanted by the show and my wife was totally blown away at the performance and the talent of the artists. My favourite is Big bad wolf and my wife's favourite is Ugly sisters, My sons are Rumpelstiltskin and Captian Hook. All round great show and wonderful theatre. Would be going there soon.

User

Great set up, ran to time, easy to get in and toys to play with we waited in between the Velveteen Rabbit show and the afternoon tea. It was a wonderful story which was staged well for my 6 and 4 year old. The afternoon tea was adorable. We had a wonderful time thank you! X

User

Friendly staff, friendly facilitator and really really really enjoyed seeing my son who has sensory issues enjoy the show and the lights! We will be returning again!

User

Every production I've seen here has been excellent. Family of four saw the Velveteen Rabbit this weekend and everyone enjoyed it. A really lovely production, engaging, funny and moving. Staff are friendly and helpful the space is fantastic for kids - love the Quentin Blake art on the walls - and as a disability friendly employer you tick all the right boxes. Highly recommended for all families, and I think a lot of adults would love Jeremy, Hartlebee and Oglemore too!

User

A fantastic theatre (not only for children, should I add) which we will definitely visit more often. Very professional but also friendly and `hands on` stuff and actors (literally speaking!) :) Also one can admire a great architecture of this award - winning building.. The play itself.. ("Baby Show"): I was curious how one can deliver a professional and interactive production for 6 month -18 month old audience, but yes, it is possible and also how much successful it was. Magical atmosphere, the performance and the whole experience. And also promotional tickets! Thank you! :)

User

A entire play with only 3 words. Incredible. We saw Jeramee, Hartleby & Oooglemore today at The Ark in Dublin with an 18 month old, a 6 year old & a 10 year old. It was loved by all 3. The interaction with the audience, the energy of the actors, it was all fantastic. Such a funny, clever & beautiful play. The 6 year old & myself even had a little boogie with Jeramee at the end. A pure joy, I'd recommend it to anyone.

User

What a beautiful production of 'The Velveteen Rabbit' today. Wonderfully told and clever staging. Not impressed with your FoH staff though - as a children's theatre, some interaction with the children would be nice! We barely got a smile from anyone!
