Ladies night at unit one so glad you have thought of doing something like this . Exeter seem to lack having fun ! Had a booth with great service yes had to leave it to see the performance but why would u want to sit and watch something like that . Brilliant atmosphere great night . Just a few more strippers would of been good ...... Would recommend it

Fantastic venue with amazing decor, myself and my friends had a fantastic night. The only negative point I have to make is the dress code. Is there one? I think now a premium club has been created, sports wear and brands should be disallowed (which I did see last night) along with trainers. It's a fantastic place don't allow it to be run down by a certain type of clientele. Apart from that, like I said, I think it's amazing. I booked a V.I.P booty for myself and friends, the table service for this is a great idea and our waitress was lovely. In fact all the staff were lovely and well presented (the red dresses are a fabulous touch adds a real sense of premium brand). Drinks prices are not expensive (unlike what other reviews have said) they're the same as any other venue. Arena has now gone, thank the Lord, so the prices have changed. Good. Hopefully this will discourage the riff raff from going. Again, really enjoyed myself and will definitely be returning!

Fantastic club, been in a fair few times, always have a good time, the management are very accommodating for larger groups. Bar staff are always happy and smiling. Same for the door staff, they actually listen if you have an issue! Prices are okay but the atmosphere is always great!

I can not believe how RUDE the staff are on the door, literally embarrassing. But unit 1 is the best place to go out in Exeter! Have to wait a while to get served and people that push in get served before you which isn't fair.. Other than the staff, it's a good place!

I got egged in the line got half a bottle of pressco spilt on me. Takes you ages to get a boost drink, people who push get it faster. I think entry fee is ridiculous. Once you've paid you can't leave unless you feel like paying £5 again.

UNIT 1. Came year in 1999. Craig David was top of the charts then and that's all you've got to play now. Either there's been nothing better in the last 17 years or you're sticking with the same formula. New name and new floor doesn't make you a new club...

Why do bouncers think they have so much authority?



So we waited outside in the pouring rain for over 20 minutes, paid for our jackets to be reserved for the night and went over to the bar for our drinks.. only to be told the night club would be closing due to a safety risk (a water leak!)



You may ask.. WHY DID THEY LET US IN? knowing the risk was already there..



Not only that, but when I rightfully requested my money back for not only holding my coat but also paying for drinks that I DID NOT receive I was pushed by a male bouncer..



This bouncer claims that everything was on camera, if so.. I honestly hope that he does not receive his pay packet for tonight and that he should also be sacked from his role..

Pushing a female customer (or any customer in fact) is just not right, under any circumstances!!

What complete rubbish!! To all the new staff at unit one i would strongly advise against working for this club the club being okay understaffed and under stocked but okay it is the treatment you shall receive off theso called general manager even though she does fuck all being Leanne as Becky does most if not all the work !!!! I was today dismissed for okay reason but shouldn't of happens in the first place as i had before mentioned the situation over the coming months and the place runs on a first come first. Serve basis on whether your allowed to go early whether you wanna get pissed or your about to have a baby the next fucking day even though you tell them a week before !!! as apparently it's only scan which btw ended up being birth of my child which is I quote this is for you Leanne "fucking disgusting" Oh and you will be severely underpayed for working in a damp mouldy Understocked dirty place which would will make you physically ill !!!!! They will demand you work even though you've put a holiday form in and on numerous occasions will underpay you as their fucking cheapskates if any of you are expecting a child good luck with the paternity/maternity leave they refuse to pay even though it's the law !!!!!!! This is the most shambolic place/company I have ever worked through and that's not just the club it the god damn company right down to the core there bent and don't care how they treat their employees or even there venues !! There stuff that goes on in that club that the council and environmental health would shut them down for such terrible work conditions !! But if you do decide to stay just no you maybe rewarded and not disciplined for doing FUCK ALL work and disciplined for trying to do your job !!!! And if you unfortunately go down the route of this shambolic company disciplinary hearing they will flip everything you say against you and make up further reason to have you sacked in summary this club is absolutely fucking terrible and unfortunately should be shut down not just for your health but because there is no morales to anyone thanks to the guys that actually made working there bearable

Possibly the worst club I have ever been too. The staff were rude. It took half an hour to get a drink as the barman was serving people who pushed in. Then when you finally get your drink some tosser knocks it clean out of your hand.

It’s a dive!! I’ve been banned for life for having an argument with a friend ? didn’t really want to go in the shit hole anyway. been in there twice and the hole time it’s been here students have teared the hole place apart all running round like kids �� can’t even put drink on table without it sliding off there wobbly af sticky floors you wouldn’t believe the place has been open for 2-3years looks like it’s been open for 20years.

If I could put negative stars then I would. Over the past 24 hours Unit 1 has treated me, a regular paying customer, appallingly. Last night I left my coat on a sofa because the cloakroom queue was so long it was almost on the dance floor. I then witnessed Unit 1 staff pick up multiple coats, including mine, and remove them from the room. I later enquired where they were and was told that cleaning staff might hand them in in the morning. I went back this morning where the club claimed to have no knowledge of my coat. Additionally there were four other people already there who had experienced the exact same thing. I found the staff to be unsympathetic and lacking in human empathy considering I had to walk home in January, alone, in a crop top because of the actions of this club.

First time I have been here for 2+ years and I came for the ladies night it has been absolutely awful I've wanted to leave and been here since 7 and it's now 9:30 nothing has happened absolutely awful waste of money!!!!

Extremely disappointed with the service last night. We paid 50 pound for a so called booth which was a complete waste of money as you couldn't even see the poor performance which only took up a quarter of the dance floor on the opposite side. So fifty quid being a waste as we had to leave the booth to even see the show, then later on in the evening the staff decided to sell it on. Second time we've had an extremely disappointing visit and won't be attending again. I want a refund for the booth and I won't be recommending you.
