United Services Portsmouth Hockey Club

United Services Portsmouth Hockey Club is keen to recruit Male and Female players and Umpires of all standards throughout the year.

Founded in 1909, United Services Hockey Club (Portsmouth) (USHC) is open to serving and retired military personnel, MoD employees and members of the public; especially those undertaking defence related work. The Club enjoys charitable status and has expanded this season to include 5 teams:

Men’s 1st XI
Men's 2nd XI
Masters
Ladies 1st XI
Ladies Development Squad

We enjoy the use of the first class facilities available at Burnaby Road; our home ground in Portsmouth – with modern water and sand based pitches, a covered spectator stand and pristine clubhouse – all within a stones throw of Gunwharf Quays Shopping Centre. Our pitches are possibly the best in the South of England.

Our membership fees are very low for the facilities available, including discounts offered to serving Military personnel.
