About Universal Horsemanship Uk

Training the horse for all disciplines using methods of natural horsemanship to work with the horse as a partner. Having worked in the UK and abroad my whole life with horses, mainly youngsters and 'problem horses' (not that they exist). I have gained a lot of knowledge and experience to help me find the best ways to communicate with these incredible creatures in the best way I can.
I am absolutely passionate about horses and literally have all the time in the world for them which I believe is why I am successful with them, when you simply have time, patience and relaxation combined with an understanding of the horses natural instincts and communication you really can solve most issues just by thinking outside the box and not using force. I very often find that when the pressure is completely taken off, even the most 'highly strung' horse can relax and start to listen and want to work with us instead of running in fear or confusion.
I do not have all the answers or a specific method, I use psychology, patience and thinking outside the box to gain a mutual language with the horse so we can work in partnership together.
Although I love competing, eventing being my main passion I could spend all day on the ground and just riding bareback in a halter chilling with my beasts, this is not a job for me it is my life.
I understand this is not for everyone which is absolutely fine, I just bumble along doing my thing, enjoying every moment I spend with the horses and I have had great success in backing and starting, training, re-training, competing (at all disciplines) and taking on the more misunderstood horses.
