Sometimes we all need a place to stop, feel safe, and be able to let go, even for just a few minutes. Safe Space is just that, a space where you can take a break, where there is someone to listen. There are also special guided sessions on Wednesdays at the FGH Chaplaincy centre.

Areas of Morecambe Bay are prone to flooding and flood water can potentially increase the transmission of diseases so it’s important you stay safe during this time. Get some tips here: http://ow.ly/dUAT50yirp8

There have been a number of rumours circulating overnight on Social media that the Royal Lancaster Infirmary is closed due to Novel Coronavirus. – This is NOT correct. All of Our services and hospitals remain open.
We will not be responding to any enquiries about reports of this activity in our hospitals to the media, all queries are being handled nationally.
Any information required about cases of Coronavirus will be confirmed by the Department of Health media team – please... contact them if you have any enquiries.
Can people please Stop calling our hospital asking if we are open, it is clogging up the phone lines and taking staff away from caring for patients.
Many thanks ^phil

We are receiving a lot of calls and messages tonight asking if the RLI is closed? This follows false posts online. IT IS FULLY open. Please don’t call the hospital asking about the condition of patients. We will not discuss this kind of information with anyone, including journalists. For those asking about Coronavirus, we only have following statement:
Patients with suspected infectious diseases are regularly admitted to our hospitals for diagnostic tests and treatment. We h...ave well tested procedures in place for treating these patients and there is no risk to other patients. We will not be responding to any enquiries about reports of this activity in our hospitals.
Any information required about cases of Coronavirus will be confirmed by the Department of Health media team. Please contact them if you have any enquiries.
Thanks Phil

If you do catch #flu, we would advise that you stay at home, get plenty of rest, drink lots of fluids and use paracetamol or ibuprofen from your local pharmacy to control your temperature and treat aches and pains @MorecambeBHCP https://bit.ly/3aRjrVf
