Hidden away behind a normal looking house entrance, the wealth and variety of displays is quite surprising - well, it is a university endeavour, after all.

I did not know there was a botanical garden in Bristol, but once I knew it was ontop of the to-do list. It did not disappoint.
We were greeted by friendly staff who gave us a quick synopsis and an umbrella.
The gardens are fantastic, we didn't eat at the restaurant, lots of information and alot to see.

Definitely worth a visit, it doesn't feel like your in the city!

Bit of a hidden gem! Amazing selection of plants, some very unusual ones too. Plenty of parking. Cafe facilities and cake quality (!) needs improving (unless it has been since my last visit).

User

Really interesting collection, well maintained with a smart layout and lots of love information.

Love the gardens a hidden gem! Like a mini Kew Gradens with everything to offfer on a smaller scale and a brilliant place to host an event. Enjoyed shooting Shaun the Sheep Event here for Dunkleys Chartered Accoutnants. You can see some photos on my page, Dianna Bonner Photographer. :)
