University Of East London Students' Union

We represent and support more than 13, 000 students at the University of East London.

The Students Union provides Academic advice, Student-led societies, Events, Volunteering Opportunities, and Representation for students to the university, in the form of Programme Reps and also Elected student Officers. As a student at UEL, you are automatically a member of the SU.

Best of all, the Students Union is not run by the university - it's run by students, for students!

This means that UEL student can get involved, whether by becoming a Society Organiser, a Programme Rep, Volunteering your time, or running for election to become a Student Officer or a full time President /Vice-President.

Come along to our events and make some new friends. Hang out in the Students Union social spaces (The Lounge, Docklands & The Dome, Stratford). Tell us what ideas you have - how the Students Union can better make *your* life at UEL awesome. Or tell us what you want us to be lobbying the university about - we're always standing up for the rights of students about their issues at UEL, and telling university management how to improve the university for students.

Basically, it's our job to make UEL students have an awesome and useful time at university. But to help achieve that, we need *you* - Get involved!
