No matter how small the gesture may seem, everybody can get involved in World Kindness Day! Why not hold open a door for somebody, compliment a friend or praise a colleague’s good work? Remember - kindness doesn’t cost a thing! #WorldKindnessDay

“It is not easy and very often despair comes knocking on my door, mainly because of tiredness. I came to the conclusion, however, that there are quite a few people like me with whom I share the same problems, experiences and sometimes even the same thoughts.” In her first blog, Anastasia shares her journey to and the challenges of studying independently. This was a student’s desk in the days leading up to examinations - two screens, multiple books and lots of assorted stationery in what looks like a seriously productive study session! Post a picture of your #UoLStudySpace and keep a look out in case we share it.

Now seen on everything from souvenir mugs to t-shirts and fridge magnets, the instantly recognisable ‘Keep Calm and Carry On’ poster was created at the University of London’s famous Senate House building when it was occupied by the Ministry of Information during the Second World War. #UoLFact #FridayFact

I submitted an application and paid the fee. I received an email stating if I don’t hear from anyone by February to contact he school. I’m afraid I might of made a mistake. When I applied for business administration with international business it mentioned the deadline was October 1. Who can I contact via email? Or phone number ?

I just completed my degree last year and my next step is to get registered in the Sri Lanka Law college.

The Sri Lanka Law college has changed their acceptance policy for documentation and insist that the student present the original transcript when they go for registration to the Law college.

Therefore email sent by the University of London to the Law College is not accepted anymore. The deadline for student registration is on the 20th of this month.

Please assist urgently in getting the original transcript to me before this date, as this is a serious headache to me.

Hi! I'm very interested in the online Bachelor degree of international relations. When is the earliest possible date i can start and when can i start to enroll?

In the requirenents it says i need to proof some knowlede of mathematics? How can i proof this?

In my other degree (not university degree) i have only grades in accounting, not math), does this count also? Or would you accept an U.S. GED exam as proof of math knowledge?

Thank you so much

Totally unorganized and no feedback - VLE (Virtual Learning Environment) very old design and not attractive/motivating - Learning materials are not up to date (mentioning older books but working with others) - No App (distance learning course should be able to provide a usage with smartphones) All in all -> there are better distance learning programmes (for the amount of money you pay here) from other universities. Cannot recommend this

User

Poor response on my enquiry. I raised the enquiry on Aug 29 but nothing has been done by UOL since then. I have an urgent request which stucked by the error of payment but seems like this simple thing can't even be solved in 10 days! The application has now been closed so who is gonna to bear the expense/time I have spent for this? Hope I can get a positive response soon and the school may restart the application for me. My enquire no. is 000746864. Please response and sorry for the poor review I have given. I believe this is the only way I can get the attention of the school even though I have sent several updates to my enquiry everyday but no useful reply I have received so far.

User

I’d give it a zero if I could. Takes so long to reply obvious questions that isn’t even slightly related to what I ask TOP notch bro.

Also, for all of you guys who are considering UOL. When you apply for Bachelor Degree.. They don’t even check your DIPLOMA. They just see your English grades from your IGCSE.

Cause obviously you can enter a bachelor’s degree with an IGCSE grade.

10/10 for me. Good job

& please. If you are going to reply to me asking me to email you I have done it twice and even with detailed explanation you guys still don’t get it. (Yes, Harry. I’m talking to you)

It’s very disappointed to learn that there was a leakage of the examination question to the zone A students. The students openly discussed the content and details via WhatsApp groups after the criminal and public laws exam had been taken by zone B. For everyone who did the past year questions should have known that a numbers of questions were duplicated in both zone a and B. It is fracturing that some students in zone A actually asked for the questions in details, and the students in zone B did discuss with them in details. More terribly, some students in zone A still argued that knowing the questions in zone B in advance doesn’t make it cheating. There seems no fairness in the exams. The one who has no or lower moral standard seems to have a much better chance to A the exams. There is a need for the university to fix this as it does bother the reputation of the university

Imprisoning protesting students illegally is a hell of a way to conduct yourselves.

I hope you know that sealing fire doors is illegal and the footage taken of your people doing so will be of great interest to authorities.

I studied the LLB course here several years ago and now would like to continue the remaining ones. I have been trying to seek for help in retrieving my registration number via enquiries but still no reply until today while the enrollment period of the LLB courses is almost closed. I am frustrated that what this leading institution provides us is only INDIFFERENCE!!!! What makes me regret most is that I have turned down another LLB offer with the hope of continuing my studies here. If you are smart enough to search for comments here before your application, rest assured what you see right here are the treatments you are going to encounter in your studentship. Think twice before you make the decision to study here!!!!

I requested UoL’s transcript department to send my transcripts for evaluation to world education services(Wes). As they do not have electronic system for the I process I mailed my request along with all the required documents and fee to the transcript office. When no one bothered to acknowledge the receipt of my documents in the transcript, I finally had to emailed them regarding the acknowledgment of documents, to which they eventually replied on April 20th, 2018. They asked for four to five weeks for the whole process which I believe in today’s day and date is considerable amount of time however, I waited patiently the whole time. But after four weeks I emailed them again inquiring whether they have mailed the documents and got the reply it is still in process, mind you no date was given when will they dispatch the documents to Wes. After 5 weeks I had to finally emailed them again asking them to mail the documents as soon as possible as I have lost considerable amount of time due to their snail paced process to which they have not replied yet. Can you please help me by forwarding my message to the head of the transcripts office or maybe forward contact details of the concerned as I believe this kind of service is utterly unacceptable with your former students. Hoping for a positive response. Thank you!

I am an alumna of the 1993/94 set and studied at Wye College Campus. My course, Tropical Agriculture was quite invigorating ,stimulating and informative. I had such a lovely time there but sadly the campus is no longer there but am always proud to be an alumna of University of London.
