ALL POTENTIAL DISTANCE LEARNING STUDENTS,
Important things to know about this school include the following:
1. Some modules are amazing, and some are not worth the money.
2. Marking between the core modules and elective modules in their program is inconsistent, with core modules being significantly easier than the electives.
3. Any concern about assignment marking will be met with a flat out REFUSAL to provide a re-check.
4. Any academic concern with the grades received in a written examination will be met with a flat out REFUSAL to check for potential errors in marking and a REFUSAL to provide feedback.
5. If an exam is lost or incorrectly assigned to your student number...they expect YOU to pay for them to conduct an administrative re-check to ensure that your name is actually on the exam registered to your number.
6. Transcript waiting times are ridiculously long, with a total wait time of around 2-4 months to have a transcript sent out.
These are all of the issues that I have run into while studying in the DL MSc program (Infectious diseases). I wish I had known this before attending the school, so I hope that it will provide valuable insight for future students before they decide to jump into studying with this institution.
