Accommodation Services at The University of Sheffield were delighted to welcome various members from Hong Kong Universities today including, Education University of Hong Kong, University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Baptist University and representatives from MagiCube (an education technology company).
The day started with an overview of Accommodation and Residence Life followed by a tour of the Residences, in the snow showing the visitors our on-site show flat, which is hosted wi...thin Curbar on the Ranmoor/Endcliffe site. They remarked how big the bedrooms were in comparison to student accommodation in Hong Kong ŌĆō stating that three people would actually share a bedroom of that size.
We hope the visitors all enjoy a fabulous lunch, which is taking place at Inox Dine, within the StudentsŌĆÖ Union as we speak. This will be concluded by a tour of the main campus. Please give them a massive welcome if you see them walking around as they are here for a week.

Hooray - the lovely barbeque weather is here!
Enjoy yourselves in the sunshine but do take care of the environment around you. Never use tree stumps as a table for your BBQ as this could cause a serious fire.
Really important to throw cold water on your BBQ when you have finished cooking otherwise the local wildlife could get injured. Never leave a hot BBQ unattended. Thank you :)
