Congratulations! Dr Katie St John Glew won the Women and the Ocean: Changemakers Challenge sponsored by the Economist Group’s ‘World Ocean Initiative’.
Katie was awarded for her work on verifying fish catch locations and improving traceability. She will present her vision at the World Ocean Summit in Tokyo in March 2020.

Prof Paul Wilson at the University of Southampton spoke to BBC Radio 4 Today about a new study which couldn't find evidence that volcanic activity caused the extinction of the dinosaurs."It was the asteroid 'wot dun it'!" he told the BBC.
