University of Surrey Model United Nations Society is for every student who wants to practice their diplomatic, negotiation and debating skills so join us!

Model United Nations (MUN) is, as the name suggests a mini version of the real United Nations wherein people role-play as delegates of the United Nations and simulate UN committees. It's a fun way to not only try and tackle problems on a global scale but to also improve skills like public speaking and critical thinking.

Being a student initiative, MUN conferences have been hosted in universities around the world and now it's Surrey's turn to jump on board! As a society we will be organising trips to several MUN conferences in and around the U. K. as well as offering training sessions to those who are interested. Also, we will be organising the first ever MUN conference, here at Surrey!
