With a history dating back to 1946, Worcester has established a reputation for world-class teaching and practical, purposeful research.

We are a vibrant, forward-looking university, well known for the quality of our degrees with employers actively seeking out our graduates. As the only higher education institution in Herefordshire and Worcestershire, we have a strong role to play in the region. We deliver degree programmes to nearly 10, 000 students and employ 1, 000 staff.

Worcester has undergone significant change and growth over the last few years, expanding into new subject areas, more than doubling student numbers and investing substantially in staff and new facilities.

We are a truly inclusive university where each and every person counts as an individual. As an important member of our dynamic, responsible, high-achieving community, you will have every opportunity to thrive and fully realise your potential. Worcester enjoys a national reputation as a very friendly place at which people are genuinely happy.

Yesterday for the FIRST time all the "talks" we had matched up to what we found out for ourself's .

The students we meet were lovely, even though we were looking around student halls that they had only been in themself's for a couple of weeks , the were "fantastic" giving honest feedback which was great .

This university had just the right number of course's with teachers from that field of work . ( so far most had never been active in their field of teaching , very sad)

This university ticked all 5 boxes for both myself and my daughter . If it wasn't on your list to visit DO it , you won't be disappointed .

We ( me & my daughter) were both really pleased we visited it .

User

Visited the university and absolutely adored it. The labs are amazing. The teachers seem lovely and the campus is just beautiful. I really can't wait to begin studying this September!

Anybody going to be studying Biochemistry at all?

User

Very professional, casual and friendly, no fuss and completely focused on achievements by Graduants on their Graduation. A great day to have attended. Worcester University have been an excellent choice for my daughter to do her tertiary education. Thank you

User

Took our daughter up to Worcester Uni yesterday. So may students and staff on site to make the process run smoothly. Everyone we met were so friendly and welcoming. I think my daughter will have a great time and will do very well. Accommodation was great and her move into her room went without a hitch. The University is so close to town, and it's such a lovely city.

User

Took our daughter to the open day yesterday and it was very well organised, lots of friendly people on hand, staff and pupils. Will definitely be visiting again to see more before decisions have to be made.

User

This is my first semester in my part time masters in education. Tutors (especially course leader) has been very helpful and understanding to me. Not yet lovin it, but like roses, it will grow on me (hopefully)

User

Staff were friendly, honest and very approachable, ambassadors were great and very helpful. Definitely ticked all the boxes for a good university for 2019 start. Accommodation very good and airy.

User

I recommend University of Worcester, helpful staff, great people, fabulous food and supportive lecturers who helped me graduate.

I graduated in 2008 and miss my Uni and would love to go back again.

User

I miss every bit of it till date. I have learnt a lot and experienced much more than I had in my mind when I joined in. The best place for anyone who would want to enjoy the uni. Life in the UK

User

Going into my second year and I can't wait. People and staff are incredibly nice and friendly and willing to give you a hand. And fellow students are very supportive. A place you can surely make friends for life

User

From the moment I got to the uni I loved it, it was amazing. The lectures seemed engaging, the accommodation is above the rest I've seen, the people are friendly. It is by far the best uni I've seen and I was smitten within minutes of looking around :)

This uni stood out from the rest and so excited to start September, meet new friends and especially start my course! Everyone seems so friendly moving to worcester will be a big change but will be so worth it, can't come quick enough

User

As a mature student the thought of attending university made me feel sick. I went to a rival uni first which confirmed all my fears. The UofW was totally different. I felt welcomed and included. The staff are all so helpful and my experience has been positive. So far so good!

User

Absolutely loved the friendly atmosphere at the university! The lecturers that I met were able to provide me with all the knowledge that I needed and were very helpful. During my interview, I felt at ease and after visiting the university a few times, I realised that this is the place where I long to be and I am totally excited to be starting in September!

Is anybody going to be studying journalism?

User

Looked very beautiful when I went for my interview, was also offered a place by what would be one of my lectures, she seemed nice and down to earth. Beautiful city, with a lot to offer. Can't wait for September
