Unscripted Players Description

The Unscripted Players is the UK’s first am-dram company dedicated to improvised theatre.

The group was created to give everyone the opportunity to experience the fabulous and rapidly growing art form that is improv. We aim to provide a safe, stable and supportive environment where total newbies and old-hands alike have the chance to improvise and perform!

We host several productions a year, ranging from full-length improvised plays to monthly performance jams and our regular Improv Carousel. We also hold members-only club nights and socials.

We are affiliated with the Bristol Improv Theatre, who put on regular workshops covering all aspects of improv. We also have close links to Bristol-based improv companies Closer Each Day and Degrees of Error.

New members are always welcome! Join up here: http://www. unscriptedplayers.com/join-up

Every way is Improv - an improvised reality TV show to be directed by Alice O’Brien. We will be casting 6 to 8 people for this show.
... The Stuff of Dreams - an improvised exploration of the relationship between dreams and reality to be directed by Cat Murphy. We will be casting 6 people for this show.

Session one will run 10am - 12.30
Session two will run 1pm - 3.30pm

There will also be technical rehearsal in the evening of Wednesday 3rd April.

Dear players!
Following your feedback leading up to the AGM in September last year, we’ve had a look at the Constitution and drafted a new updated Constitution.
We’ve amended it to try and address points made where we felt constitutional change would be the best response, and also continue to let it match the workings of UP as they happen. We've also had a think about ways in which we can meet the needs of the community outside of the constitution.
... At 7pm on the 15th of January we’ll be holding an EGM at the Bristol Improv Theatre bar to address the way we’d like to respond to feedback we’ve been given so far – some of it constitutionally, some not, - and for a vote on whether to put the new draft of the Constitution in place.
If you have any feedback or questions about the proposed draft, send them over to hello@unscriptedplayers.com before 5.30pm on the 15th of January. You can see changes presented in blue, and elements to be removed scored out.
We hope to see you there ☺!

Although hidden behind the light and sound board, our show technicians are just as much a part of the show as the cast so we thought we'd share this wonderful picture so that you can spot her and wave hello!
