About Up-Start
UP-START is a new and innovative enterprise project managed by young people for young people, aged 15 to 24 who are currently not in employment, education or training, and living in Telford & Wrekin.
Up-Start Description
We aim support young people, primarily from BME, LGB& T and disabled communities to fully, actively and positively engage in the social, cultural and economic development of their communities and wider society. UP-Start aims to do this by supporting individuals in addressing personal barriers and by addressing external barriers, including societal prejudices, stigmas and attitudes towards young people from the target communities.
