We enjoyed a big family gathering here on Dec 28th. The informal atmosphere was perfect for everyone being able to catch up with each other. We had kids of all ages with us and the kids cinema area was a godsend.. .genius idea. No need to worry about the kids running around even when they were.

As for the food...we all thought it was wonderful. The beef brisket was ridiculously good! I wish I didn't live in London as I'd be making regular trips to you. Highly recommended �

This is an absolute GEM of a place. Great value BBQ food. Food is absolutely delicious and as it’s a buffet, you do t need to make a difficult decision. Of what to have - have it all!! Very friendly service, food is fantastic and plentiful, and the added touch of a children’s area of sofas and bean bags with cartoons playing is a great idea.

The Upton Smoke House is a must visit! Cool and quirky serving the most delicious meat feast! We had a small family get together on Sunday, the self service prevented the kids from climbing the walls with hunger and the fabulous little projector showing cartoons kept them busy whilst the adults chatted after lunch. Friendly staff, great atmosphere and a satisfying feast!

Just had a fantastic Sunday lunch here! We hadn't booked but there was space outside and the staff were very accommodating! Great atmosphere, lovely staff, brilliant food a very laid back setting. We popped into the farm shop and picked up some delicious ice cream, cheese and fish cakes! Such a gem and delighted to know it's family run, rather than by a large corporate operation!! Definitely recommend!

I've been aware of this place ever since my daughter got married at Cripps Barn and the smoked chicken came from Upton Smokery, it was delicious and we regularly dropped in to buy food stuffs. Then they opened the Firehouse and I was sharing the page on Facebook and finally got to go there yesterday. It was amazing, a real gem of a place with a great relaxed feel, the BBQ was impressive and the food was amazing, the welcome was warming and it's only 10 minutes up the road for us, great to have something so different so close by. Highly recommend this place and can't wait to go again.

I have been here today for a family meal and it has rounded off a brilliant week for my 30th birthday. All the people that run this amazing place should be proud of themselves a atmosphere you can only imagine and food you can only dream of. 5* from me and all my family including my dog who was made more than welcome. We will certainly be returning very soon xxx

Great venue for my husbands 65th birthday party, Chris and his team could not have made things any better, beautifully decorated, fantastic food as always, brilliant atmosphere. Never have I ever heard so many compliments from young and old alike as to how great the night was. Thank you Chris and your fantastic team for such a great night.

Excellent food, great atmosphere, very good for meat eaters and some fab salads as well

Loved it. Amazing food. Brilliant staff and atmosphere. Only bad point was, we had two vegetarians in our party and other than the veg and salad they only had a feta pasty. Was quite expensive for them when there was minimal choice. Would be nice to see some better veggie options. Veggie sausages? Also softer lighting. Otherwise we loved it. Such a cool place and love that dogs are allowed. Will be coming back really soon :)
