Feedback Friday It’s fair to say that I don’t post photos from shoots very often so I’m going to try and adjust that. I’ll kick it off with this unedited shot, I totally loved making these shots for the talented vibrant, enthusiastic stylist and speaker Lisa Newport - My Ruby Slippers Style Academy as a visual person with a background in fashion and design she totally got what I was trying to achieve and went hand in hand with me trusting me to try what I was suggesting for ...each shot. Photoshoots are not just a question of me picking up a camera and clicking a shutter they are a collaborative process between the photographer and the sitter. I get the most from every shoot when I work in an organic way responding to my clinet and them responding and reacting to me. Lucky me! It’s fair to say that Lisa enjoyed the experience too! “Had an AMAZING shoot experience with Ursula. She really knows her stuff, the lighting and the advice she gives you regarding posing & props etc demonstrates her extensive knowledge and experience. What could have been a daunting & stressful experience 'posing' for head-shots certainly wasn't with Ursula who was great at putting me at my ease, making me feel relaxed and part of the process. I would definitely recommend Ursula without hesitation.

What can I say about Ursula's talent?

She is one amazing lady behind the lens. She has the ability to get you relaxed and enjoying the photography session with her so that YOU really do shine through in your photographs. As a Business Coach I need to convey confidence and warmth through my headshots and I can really say that Ursula has captured that for me (so I have been told!)

Be warned though, when you get your proofs to choose from you will have such a time trying to decide which you want to keep, as they are just all so fabulous.

It's my job to make people comfortable in a very vulnerable situation (Spray Tan Professional) but the tables were quickly turned when it was my team and I infront of the camera. I was SO nervous and I hope it doesn't sound cliche to admit that Ursula Kelly totally put me at ease. Looking through the reel, you can see the emotional journey I went on purely in my face, the shots she captured when she had calmed me down are nothing short of miracle. I am so delighted to have proper professional brand content to share with the world. Everyone loves a profile picture, but these pictures are next level and EXACTLY what I asked for in my remit (but better). The shoot was fun, the experience was great, the professionalism from Ursula was on point and the results were amazing.
