Found this haul of jugs in France. These are British Army liquid containers of WW1 vintage. S.R.D. stands for Supply Reserve Depot, and not Service Rum Distilled as some people think, which is why they are often incorrectly named rum jars. They were in fact used for any liquids such as acids that couldn't be stored in metal containers. Some can be found with WW2 dates too

Classic Osterizer Model 10, made by the John Oster Mfg. Co. from 1946 on. Fully working (with a 110V transformer). Comes in its original white finish, correct jug and lid. John Oster bought the Stevens Electric Co. in 1946, inventors the electric blender in 1922, and called it the Osterizer. Also known as the beehive blender.
