Uwe Bar School Description
Hi!
We're the UWE Bar School society and we'd like to teach you everything there is to know about alcoholic drinks and get you inolved in some Bar Flair - the manipulation of ingredients and equipment in the art of making drinks.
You'll learn the ins and outs of Wine, Spirits and Beers, tasting hundreds of varieties as well as having the chance to make some creative cocktails! We're not talking Sex on the Beach here (unless that's your thing! ). We're talking eggs, fresh fruits (that you've probably never heard of), spices from around the world and of course, high quality spirits and liqueurs! It's also an amazing opperunity to meet an amazing group of new people, whether you're a fresher, 2nd year or post-grad! There will be many chances to visit local brewerys, distilleries and festivals.
We'll also be showing you the best places to eat and drink around Bristol! We take you to some of the best bars to show you that there's much more to drinking than vodka and energy drink! We also make sure we head into Europe for our annual trip!
