Service announcement: This weekend is a planned IT maintenance weekend.
During the planned maintenance weekend (16:30 on Friday 31 May until 08:30 on Monday 3 June) OpenAthens and EZ-Proxy will be taken off line for most of the weekend. This will disrupt access to the majority of our electronic resources (ejournals, ebooks, databases etc), with a greater impact to off-campus users than often experienced during maintenance weekends.

Recall message alerts will be sent to your phone and UWE Bristol email if someone recalls an item you have borrowed.
Books can still be recalled during the Summer break, so don't forget to return any books you still have if you're leaving Bristol for the break.

Although the ERC is primarily for education students, we wholeheartedly encourage student and staff parents to borrow books for bedtime stories! Browse our collection at Frenchay or use Library Search and ask for books to be transferred to your campus library. You can filter Library Search results to just show books in the ERC, or use the special search box on our Education subject page: www1.uwe.ac.uk/library/yoursubject/educat ion 👍

Don’t forget to take regular breaks when you're revising. Switching subjects every 2-3 hours is also recommended to help your brain absorb information better.
