Went to celebrate my engagement with family was 14 In total all had great food an the service was fast.. an I would recommend anyone the meat feast calzone.. will be returning

Plenty of choice on the menu and the food / service is excellent!

The food here is literally made with love, care and affection. The chicken is cooked to perfection and the sauce on the Cesar salad was the best Iv ever encountered in my life! Can not fault the staff, always attentive.

Spot on, not one moan from the 15 people in the family gathering, staff were brilliant, food was best IŌĆÖve had for a long time, man in charge was hilarious. Good night was had by all

I highly recommend ValentinoŌĆÖs, the food is beautiful, we are never ever ever disappointed, the service is on point. Everyone who works here is brilliant and so friendly and helpful. I give ValentinoŌĆÖs 10 out of 10. ThatŌĆÖs why we come back time and time again. Ps the food we ordered to take away this evening was absolutely beautiful, thank you. Lucie & Dean x

I went with my son last week and the service was exemplary and is a noticeable improvement. The staff were attentive, engaging without being over the top and looked to enjoy their work.

I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Beautiful food and amazing staff. We had our daughterŌĆÖs 7th birthday celebrations there and they made it a truly magical night for her! The staff are like family and will do anything they can to make your visit wonderful. ValentinoŌĆÖs is a family favourite!

Been along time since I have been here due to being disappointed some years ago but I must say was very happy with service and food was great so many thanks valentinos and will see you again . Will be calling soon for 2for 1 cocktails I think x

Absolutely faultless . Food is the best in the area , service is the best in the area, atmosphere perfect!!! We went as a large party this eve. The food all came out together , no one was waiting . The staff cannot do enough for you . In my opinion the best Italian in Wakefield without a doubt .

Not been for a while but must say this time was a much better experience all the food was lovely apart from the tirimisu please go back to how it used to be made .. Iv been to a lot of Italians and it was the worst dessert Iv ever had ... the fruit or whatever it was in the bottom was nasty ... however we had a good experience apart from waiting at the bar to be served for what felt like a lifetime .. 1 person doing the bar is not enough when you have customers waiting to be seated and he is busy making cocktails for the diners already seated ! Staff in the restaurant were very nice , helpful and friendly and we weren't rushed out at the end of our meal they just left us to chat which was good ... forgot to mention the cocktails were nice too ..would definitely go again but wouldn't order the tirimisu x

Went there yesterday.... extremley long time before being asked what drinks we would like on arrival at our table ... food was mediocre.... orders were made wrongly i.e two cheese garlic bread pizzas came with chillis and onions on the which we didnt see stated on menu, two of the kids were brought adults portions when childrens ordered and two Calzone pizzas were made wrong one was ordered for a vegetarian but had to swap with her husband due to being made with wrong ingredients .... and to Cap it all a service charge was added to the bill ...

The tomato garlic bread was lovely, would defo recommend! The margarita pizza was ok and had the chunky chips which were really nice. However the waiting for drinks really let it down. Kept ordering drinks with different people for them never to turn up. Finally got them when my partner brought the issue up to a staff member and staff were very apologetic. But would obviously rather it had been better service in first place .

Lovely, lovely food. Very poor, slow service. Waited 25 minutes for a glass of wine even though our waiter asked several times if we had the wine yet. And service charge is not optional.

I put the below review on ValentinoŌĆÖs Facebook page regarding our, terrible, Christmas dinner.....itŌĆÖs been deleted and IŌĆÖve been blocked so canŌĆÖt repost it. I would not recommend for anyone thinking of booking for Christmas in the future!



Came for Christmas dinner with the family (9 in total). Table at 1.30 waited what felt like a lifetime (with a very hungry 1 year old) for our starters, followed by another lifetime for our main course. We had 1 small bowl of veg between us and no potatoes were brought with the veg. When we asked for some more veg and some potatoes we were asked if chips were ok....CHIPS with Christmas dinner, no thank you (we did get another small bowl of veg). ŌĆśPotatoesŌĆÖ were finally brought to the table (when we had almost finished

eating) and I can only describe them as chunky fried chips in a bowl on a piece of kitchen roll! Bar service wasnŌĆÖt the best but soon became terrible when the bartender took away a bottle of champagne, which still had some in, and when questioned about lied saying he had a photograph of the bottle upside down in the ice bucket but then soon backtracked saying he hadnŌĆÖt said that. Unfortunately for him this had been heard by one of the waitresses who kindly spoke up saying he had said it! And finally IŌĆÖm glad I didnŌĆÖt fancy a coffee after my food as we were never offered one never mind brought one.

All in all our Christmas dinner wasnŌĆÖt very good, at all, and needless to say we wonŌĆÖt be returning.....Capri next year!
