CUSTOMER NOTICE WE WILL BE CLOSED BETWEEN MONDAY 6TH AUGUST 2018 AND SUNDAY 12TH AUGUST 2018. WE WILL BE OPEN MONDAY 13TH AUGUST 2018 5PM AS NORMAL. THIS IS TO GIVE ALL THE STAFF A WEEKS HOLIDAY. SORRY FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE THIS MAY CAUSE.

Hiring We are currently looking for a part time kitchen porter mainly Friday and Saturday night possibly more hours as and when needed.

Our small gin collection to enjoy with your meal.. We’ll be adding a few more, so if you let us know what you like we’ll be able to add it to our collection for you to enjoy on your next visit.😀

we eat in the restaurant all the time the food is first class and the service is just as good very good indeed and the prices are wonderful well recommended

Went today for the lunch special for £5.95. Starter was minestrone soup or you could get a soup of the day followed by Amitriciania(bacon onion tomato) with penne it was so delicious followed by a cup of tea. First time I've been and can't fault the food or the service. Will be returning.

Went here for Sunday lunch for the first time. It is amazing value for money. £8.95 for a 3 course lunch, generous size portions, piping hot food, fresh vegetables and a massive homemade Yorkshire pudding with lashings of thick tasty gravy. The two waitress that served us were very pleasant and gave excellent service. Looking forward to returning very soon.

We went the day before Good Friday, arrived about 8.20pm and the place was quite full. Good atmosphere and the food was lovely. I had King Prawns as a main course they were very tasty with salad. The family all has different meals and everyone thoughruly enjoyed theirs. Will definitely be going back.

We had lunch today and the food was fantastic and great value for money we had to leave some of the pizzas as they were huge. The waitress was very friendly and quick to take our orders and serve our food we will definitely be back again soon .

Valentino's is an amazing restaurant.

The food is lovely, with generous portion sizes and their homemade puddings are to die for especially the chocolate Brownie.

The service is great with a lovely friendly environment. So welcoming every time.

Moved back to the area a few months ago and didn’t take us long to find this little family-run gem, been a number of times and always had a fab night, great friendly staff and very tasty food. Definitely recommend!

Lovely Sunday lunch. 3 courses 15.95. Very generous portions all fresh cooked food. I had Pate starter ,Sea bass. Main with fresh vegetables then Creme Brulee. Perfect. Everyone else had Christmas Turkey Dinner .

We come from Leeds and it's our favourite place in Whitley bay . Be back in the spring.

Loved out Girly night out. Staff are efficient, friendly and attentive without been intrusive.

We only had Pasta dishes but these were delicious and well presented.

We love this homely restaurant and I have never had any complaints �

I've visited Valentino on a few occasions each time the staff have been very friendly and welcoming. The service was excellent, the resting time between courses was just right as I don't like to be rushed . The food was very enjoyable especially the deserts which I always seem to have room for.

I will no doubt frequent Valentino again . Keep up the good work and hope to see you again soon �

First time here and must say from being greeted on entering and taken to our table right away the service was first class and the meals were above our expectations we will definitely be going back next time we are over here

Eaten here three times now and been fab every time. Great range of food and good value. Good for large parties as well as couples. Great service too.

Booked for 17 people Saturday 5th May for my daughter's and sister's joint birthday celebration. We had a fantastic time, the staff were very accommodating and the food delicious. Thank you so much, we all had a great time!

Went for the first time last night ... was quiet but showed to our table very quickly the service was excellent our waitress was warm and friendly ... the food was very good quality and generous portions ... my only gripe was the owner came out and was speaking to a couple at the next table who were obviously regulars and he was telling them all about the ups and downs of running a Resteraunt etc etc which was a little off putting when trying to have a nice quiet meal but on the whole nice food great atmosphere and good value ..

I start by saying would not eat Italian by choice, but my grandchildren chose pizza and I avoided the more obvious ones in the area as in the past I found them cheap and it showed in the quality! I visited at 1 o'clock and had to park in a nearby street which set me an eating time of 2 hours which we only just made. The waitress was welcoming and the table close to the window which was nice. Our drinks order was taken and time given for us to order our starter and mains. The menu is comprehensive. The food was well cooked and nicely presented although my Fillet Beef Strogonoff was rather greasy. The pizzas were far too big, which always seems to be the case everywhere and we took two boxes home with us. It was December, but I never felt particularly warm and the food cooled quite quickly.The prices were reasonable and the service good. I would recommend it to those who like Italian food, but I'm still not a convert.

Monday night. A few folk in. Service was avarage although staff were attentive. Food was not good unfortunatly. I ordered "crispy belly pork" from the specials blackboard, three strips of belly pork that were dry overcooked and like rubber "Crispy" ??? My partners mussels were overcooked and like rubber. We did not complain as were part of a birthday group (6 of us) this place needs to up its game as plenty other places local doing it well. Simple food like that should be perfect. Such a shame.
