Valleywide Taxi

Due to the fact that there are no trains to or from Pewsey for the next three weeks, we are prepared to run a taxi from Pewsey Station-Swindon Station @ 06:30 from tomorrow morning. 1-4 Passengers £40, 5-8 Passengers £60 or, Andover Station 1-4 Passengers £35, 5-8 Passengers £55. Please book in advance if possible but, we shall have a 8 seater taxi at the station at 06:30 tomorrow morning.

Just a note that, people say Taxi's are expensive. If you compare train fares to airports as well as the time it takes. We are in fact, rather cheap. A standard return train fare to Heathrow is nearly £80 and takes about 2 hrs. If there are 4 people travelling it works out at £320 which is £100 more than we charge Gatwick return within 1 month off peak, £69.50 which is really cheap but, x 4 £278. We pick you up at your door and return you to your door for £300+ parking So, we agree that taxis are expensive for individual travellers but, 2 or more passengers going to and from Airports can probably save money by using our service. So, please compare our fares with other forms of public transport before saying we charge to much.

Please note, some of our fixed price fares have been increased since yesterday as the fuel price is now at its highest in 2 years. If the fuel price drops to £1.10 we shall reduce the fixed fares again. We are sorry about this but, it isn't sustainable to run at the already heavily discounted fixed fare prices we were charging. It is costing us 25% more to run than it was 2 years ago without any increase in fares. We do appreciate your support and hope we can continue to serve you as best we can.
