This Christmas at Valued Lives, we're helping those less fortunate than ourselves. We've teamed up with St. Petroc's homeless charity in Truro to make a shoe-box collection to help bring a little festive cheer to those in need. If you can donate any of the following items for those either experiencing or at risk of homelessness, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you 💝

The LGBTQ+ group is for anybody who identifies as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning, and others who are experiencing mental health struggles, or would like to improve their mental wellbeing. It will be a safe place to be yourself and be among others who may be in similar situations or have similar experiences. If you have any questions about the group, please call (01209) 901438 or email info@valuedlives.co.uk.

Hearing Voices Groups are based firmly on an ethos of self help, mutual respect and empathy. They provide a safe space for people to share their experiences and support one another. They are peer support groups, involving social support and belonging, not therapy or treatment. However, groups do offer an opportunity for people to accept and live with their experiences in a way that helps them regain some power over their lives. If you have any questions about the group, please call (01209) 901438 or email info@valuedlives.co.uk.

Valued Lives are now practicing Connect 5 through the crisis service. Connect 5 is an evidence based approach that incorporates CBT with the 5 ways to wellbeing, creating easy to follow tools that people can use themselves to support their recovery. Our 2 trainers Gemma & Shoni completed their train the trainers course on Thursday, and will be rolling out training over the next few weeks.
