Feeding frenzy in our guppy display tank !

We are open all weekend : Friday and Saturday 9 to 5 Sunday and Monday 9:30 to 4 Happy easter !!🐣

Our two new baby girls have just arrived , behaving like they’ve always been here ! Aren’t they just gorgeous?? The two boys certainly seem to think so 😀

We had three baby yellow thighed caiques in last week , one has already gone to a new family , leaving us with these two gorgeous boys . We are getting another two next tuesday and that probably will be it for this year . In our opinion these make the best pet parrots, they are super intelligent, very funny and energetic .. come and play with them !!😍

Seven baby kakarikies came in yesterday , they are perfect for taming at that age ! Some nice marble pieds colours and nice deep green too ! These won’t be here long !

Very helpful, would recommend. We bought a bearded dragon recently and they spent time making sure we understood the care it needs and how to look after him.

So helpful when I came yesterday. The man that helped me was really knowledgable, answered all my questions and made me feel much more comfortable with my purchase. Due to circumstances I couldn't bring this purchase home but I've put down a deposit and will be picking it up in the new year with no extra charge! Very happy to say I would highly recommend vanishing world, with a wide range of knowledge, pets and good customer care!

Quality place to visit.... even just for information or to buy your pets. Very friendly, helpful and always got time to listen to you. Plenty of good products

I went there today to get a water pump and filter for my pond,the guy who served me was really helpful and gave me some really good advice on how to keep my pond clean and keep healthy fish healthy.

I love this place always buy my birds from here and they have had some off of me also



It's a quality place to go even if wanna just walk round plenty to look at the kids love it



And it done cost a penny unless u purchase an animal/reptile

I have a Leopard Gecko and used Vanishing World as a place for her to stay while on holiday. It was £5 a day which I thought reasonable as I really didn't have anywhere else for her to go. She had been quite ill a while back with frequent trips to the vet. While unwell her eye had kind of glazed-over. The vet told us at the time that this was normal / that it was not uncommon for Leopard Gecko's to lose the sight in one eye. When I dropped her off at Vanishing World the guy behind the counter took a look at her and noticed that she about ready to shed. He began to pull off the dead skin from her entire body with incredible care. It was genuinely very impressive. He then took a look at her glazed-over eye and told me could help her. He got some eye drops out and gently worked at the eye for a good few minutes until an eye-ball reappeared! Turns out it was shedding skin that had got caught once and then kept building up. It was amazing! So happy, can't recommend highly enough.

I came in today with my nephew looking for some fish, we received so much help and advice and he had left very very happy with some beautiful new fish. I can not recommend this place enough. Thank you so much, you have made his birthday!

Great place ! I visited today and brought a Juwel 180 fish tank. One of the guys spent about 40 minutes adjusting the doors to how I wanted them and then both guys helped to pack it into my car ! I have now set the tank up and I am extremely pleased with it so thank you guys ! Both guys have 10/10 service. Money well spent !

Vanishing world staff are committed to the reptiles they sell and know their stuff.

So helpful and will do everything they can to make sure you are happy in your purchase.

They don't just want to make a sale, they care about where the animals are going and will go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need and are confident in the animal you have chosen, they take their time answering all questions and you really feel like you get a personal service from them.

I don't go anywhere else, and I recommend them to everyone I know who is thinking of choosing a reptile.

A lovely little shop with a large range of well looked after friendly animals, the staff are brilliant, friendly and very passionate about their jobs and the care of the animals. They are always happy to give advice. Overall I couldn't ask for a better experience will defiantly recommend.

Terrible customer service have bought a lot of fish off of these and spent a lot of money up there, bought about 40 fish and when I got them home I discovered they all had white spot and affected my other fish and all died, will not be going back

Really disappointed. The provision for the reptiles is unacceptable,with vivariums that are too small for the snakes inside,some reptiles on no bedding at all (just plain newspaper) and some of the vivariums aren't secure enough. I think the housing for the spiders etc is appalling,jars are just cruel. I don't think keeping lizards in racks is ok,they like to run and scamper,not sit in a tuppaware in the dark...totally grim. I know it's a shop but they're living creatures!!

With all of the above (and more,I can assure you) plus the fact that it was untidy,had very little supplies that I needed and staff that were uninterested, I am surprised that this shop is still open.

Will absolutely not be recommending this establishment to anyone. Exceptionally poor compared to other reptile stores.

How are you even still open and running?? It really is beggars belief. Don't give a monkey's as long as you get a sale. No care sheets on how to look after your reptile. Purchased a Chinese water dragon over a year ago and he has cost me in excess of a thousand pound in vet bills the last few months due to the carelessness of your staff not giving proper advice but very quick to take money off of people. Yes maybe I went into owning one abit naively but should have been given right information etc on how to care properly for them. Rant over!!
