If you have looked into the finer detail of the reports, you will know that the USA have had 6 deaths and a spate on illnesses, this is as a result of buying black market THC (Cannabis) pre-filled cartridges and tanks.
We would like to let our customers know that this is a completely different product to which we sell. The USA cartridges have been made in unknown conditions and the dangerous compound causing the issues is Vitamin E Acetate. This vitamin is found naturally occurring in things like almonds and corn, or can be synthetically made from petroleum.
Vitamin E is used in foods, creams and cosmetics and is perfectly safe to use externally or consume internally, but it's extremely dangerous when heated and inhaled as it returns back to an oil form inside of the lungs.
These black market cartridges use Vitamin E Acetate as a thickener. These products are a world away from what the UK Vaping industry sells.
In the UK, our government and NHS are pro vaping and are promoting vaping as an alternative nicotine delivery system to smoking. Remember that the Royal College of Physicians in London announced famously that vaping is 95% safer than smoking.
