Vauxhall Angling Club Description
The Vauxhall Angling Club is based in Bedfordshire and is operated as a traditional members Club, run by anglers for anglers. We offer a great deal of fishing for a very modest price! This year our adult price is just £55 for the forthcoming season, with around 9 miles of river and over 100 acres of lakes to fish, this really is very good value. We have also dropped the price of our junior membership this year to just £15 to try and encourage all adult anglers to bring any of their young relatives along to enjoy the sport of fishing. I hope that you take advantage of this!

Many of you will now know the water share agreement that Luton AC had with Vauxhall at Tingrith, has been concluded by Luton AC from May 31st 2019. The agreement came into place in 2011 after Vauxhall purchased the Mere and Woodlands Lake, anglers from both Clubs have been on good terms during this period. If any Luton member would like to continue fishing at this fantastic venue, the answer is simple, join Vauxhall for the new season starting June 16th! You will be very welcome.

The river season is drawing to a close, make the most of it while you can! Club Chairman Dave Maple had a short evening session on the Ouse at Willington yesterday, catching 3 chub to 5 1/2 lbs from this underrated venue...
No wonder Dan Young is smiling after catching this fantastic 6lbs 10oz chub from...….. KEMPSTON! Well done Dan

Catch up from the last couple of weeks..... 1 - Jon Cobb 6lb chub 2 - David Stuart German..another nice chub 3 - Matt Ryall 17lb pike 4 - Dale Clayton 18lb 4oz common carp... 5 - Jake Puffett 11lb 8oz mirror carp 6 - Nigel Porter caught this pair of fish during the match on Sunday, 7lb chub and 4lb 2oz perch.... Very well done to everyone!

Season Ticket Holders (June 16th 2018 to Mar 14th 2019) If you intend to apply for a spring ticket to extend your membership until June 15th, please do so in the next few days. Don't forget, your membership expires on March 14!
EA Rod Licence Folks, we are getting to the time of year when for a lot of anglers, their EA licence expires. Please check and renew, do not fish without a current licence. EA enforcement officers are visiting our venues regularly, the fines being issued are punitive, so do not risk it!
Only a month of the river season left....congratulations to Peter Ledger with an excellent 3 1/2lb perch caught at Radwell and also to young angler Tom Russell who has been trying very hard to catch a big chub. At 5 1/2lbs from Kempston, good job Tom!
Membership Update Membership to the Club will be closed as of February 18th 2019. Membership for June 16th 2019 onwards will be available to purchase from early April onwards. Members who have a season book will still be able to apply for their spring ticket if they wish to. So from February 18th, no new membership applications will be accepted. The Tackle shops will have any unsold books collected from them over the next few days.
Sharnbrook Anglers The gate by Pit 2 which you usually drive through to get to Pit 1, is now closed. This is because the track beyond the gate is starting to cut up quite badly. Please park to the left of the gate and walk from there if you are heading toward Pit 1. Thanks folks.
Well the weather may not be great but the river at Radwell and Sharnbrook is! Ian Jones with a stunning brace of perch at 3lbs 10ozs and 3lbs 1ozs followed by Steve Wellend with a 5lbs 14ozs chub which was his largest fish from 6 chub caught. Excellent angling!
And a couple more! Firstly David Dewer with a 27lb fish from Woburn at the end of October and Karol Lis with a 16lb Sharnbrook fish caught very recently!

### URGENT APPEAL ###
It is with great sadness that we have to post this but last night The Tackle Shed was broken into, the shop has been ransacked and most of the stock has been taken.... Unfortunately we will be closed for a few days whilst we try to sort the mess out and deal with the police and insurance. Please bear with us, we will be back up and running as soon as we can.
