You can enjoy your day with your kids,
There are plenty of animals you will be able to see, such as lamas, alpacas, turkeys, sheep, pigs, gene pigs, ferrets , donkeys and rabbits
There is very nice cafe you can relax. 5 min walk from Vauxhall station and times river.
We visited the farm yesterday. It was nice and entertaining. It is small but it has very good selection of animals. My little boy just enjoyed it. He feed the animals and he loved it. The farm has a cosy coffeshop as well. The prices are reasonable. We like to go there again.
Had not been here in over a year but very pleasantly surprised to see the recent improvements, new animals and fantastic cafe and gift shop. My son loved learning the difference between lammas and alpacas. We were in a bit of a rush so we just popped in for a quick look but we will definitely be back soon.
Free entry, a wide selection of animals and staff on hand to assist. Excellent resource or day out with the kids. Keep an eye open for the fans cats, somewhat free range.
Earlier this year my daughter decided Vauxhall city farm was her main choice for work experience.
I agreed that it would be a great idea until she told me how they treat young people at this place.
If you have a teenager who is keen to work with animals think twice before you send them here.
All the tasks as you can imagine are to clean out stables & pens, but to be told to scrub a chicken coop with no gloves or face mask, went a little too far. Then to top it all off there was no thank you at the end of the experience.
Always a great place to visit! This small city farm is free to visit and offers a small petting zoo, animal feeding for the goats and sheep and often special activities during term holidays.
They also have a cafe with really good value meals for adults and children. And a small duck pond right outside tue cafe.
It's a lovely place to get some animal cuddles in!
Outrageous principles! Not letting me feed my child her homemade baby food!!
I reason why I only gave one star is because I had to. Overall the farm is lovely, I have 3 kids and I have been going there for years.
I went to the new cafe on Sunday for the very first time. My little one was sleeping during her lunch time so missed her lunch. I brought her lunch with us in a thermos and thought we can get something to eat and drink while I feed her.
When I got there I asked a mamber of staff if they had any hot food and they handed me a menu. My husband was looking at the menu then I was told that they are not serving any hot food as they will be having a meeting shortly.
I then ordered a latte and a herbal tea.
I was about to feed my daughter then I was told that I was not allowed to feed her as the food is not from the cafe. First they wouldn't serve me any food then I was told I couldn't feed my daughter her lunch.
I was so annoyed I told them I was leaving.
They obviously don't know how to run a business. Customer's should always come first, their meeting should of been out of hours.
Also the fact that it's a child friendly place they should of been more understanding.
I will never be going back to the cafe!!
Another customer was told to stop feeding her baby as the food wasn't bought from the cafe. There isn't baby food available on the menu, why a baby shouldn't be fed at a cafe is ludicrous, utterly and completely disgusting show of human behaviour. We left and will never be coming back.
Who doesn't love seeing some classic farmyard animals on the bike ride into work. Free to roam around too and you can even buy chicken eggs if you ask nicely
