Where do I start...

I ordered my son’s 1st birthday cake in December with Shaunna. I wanted a Postman Pat cake for his tea party and what a cake it was!!! Everybody loved it including the birthday boy who actually wanted to play with the van and figures until he soon realised it was icing then he ate them.

I cannot recommend Shaunna at Velvet Frosting enough. She also did his rainbow cake smash cake. She is very professional and friendly and willing to try anything. No challenge is too big for Shaunna. She’s super talented. I’ve recommended you to everybody I know. Will be ordering plenty more now.

We asked Shaunna to come up with a selection of cupcakes to give as novel mothers day presents, and we have to say she did not dissapoint.

The individual cakes were works of art and it seemed a shame that they were to be eaten, but by all accounts they tasted as good as they looked. The cakes, 4 in all, were packaged in a stylish box with viewing window and tied up with retro twine.

We cannot thank Shaunna enough for all her hard work and will be placing another order shortly. :) x

Seeing the delight on my little boys face when he saw his surprise Thomas the Tank Engine cake this morning was amazing. Thank you so much for making the perfect cake, the chocolate sponge filling was especially delicious. Very talented lady, well done! Xx

Ordered some last minute cupcakes and Shaunna was very happy to help. She had no problems with my request and is very professional. Everybody loved the cupcakes and were very impressed with the presentation and amazing flavour. 10/10 would highly recommend and definitely order again ��

I’ve been given a box of six cakes by a customer who’s wedding I photographed as a thank you. The cakes were so perfect, I didn’t want to ruin them but when I did succumb, they were just as incredible to taste as they were to look at. Very happy customer indeed and now I know who I can call on for any cakes I need in the future! �

I messaged Shaunna about one of her cakes she had previously made which was a chocolate drip cake, i asked if i could have a strawberry and white chocolate version for my mums 50th birthday. She quickly responded and was able to help me with my request. I also asked to have white chocolate drops within the layers of the cake, and strawberry and cream Lindt chocolate on top, which Shaunna was happy to do. This cake was beyond delicious, as well as the cupcakes that accommodated it.

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it, and i will definitely order more cakes in the future �.

I saw an advert for boxes of 4 cupcakes for Mothers day gifts, each one beautifully decorated as different flowers in pretty shades of piped buttercream. One was a daisy that each petal had been cut to size out of marshmallow. Attention to detail this lady gives is super. We ordered a box for each of our mum's, then a friend saw the pictures and ordered a box and somehow I got confused 😉 and ordered 4 boxes so we had to keep the last one 😊. They looked too good to eat, sitting in a box and tied up in a bow. They were delicious, everyone said how moist the sponge was and what yummy buttercream.they had on them.

I was so impressed that I've now asked her to do my mum's 70th birthday cake. Lush!!!

I recently ordered a cake and I was so happy with it. Velvet were really easy to work with and helpful in my design.

The cake was lovely, so much effort had gone into it and it tasted amazing.

Would definitely use again.

I ordered my boyfriends cake back in January in the shape of our parrot, and oh my days it was a spitting image of her! The attention to detail was amazing! Everything looked perfect, and nearly too good to eat! It tasted lush! Lovely person to deal with and nothing is too much trouble! Can’t recommend enough! Thank you sooooo much :)
