About Ventnor Seafront

Beachfront holiday accommodation comprising of three luxury new town houses, each with panoramic sea views across the English Channel in Ventnor.

Ventnor Seafront Description

Ventnor Seafront accommodation consists of three new luxury beach houses, each sleeping up to ten across four bedrooms. Crab Cottage, Herring House and Lobster Lodge all enjoy stunning panoramic views across the English Channel and are perfectly situated just yards from Ventnor seafront and the beach itself!

Ventnor is one of England’s most famous seaside resorts, known for its unique micro-climate. Set on the south side of the Isle of Wight, Ventnor has a decidedly Mediterranean feel with its cafes and restaurants spilling out onto the pavements of the Esplanade. The town of Ventnor lies beneath the Island's highest point on St Boniface Down, and is mainly built onto the side of a steep hill that leads down to the seafront and beach.

A beautiful video of the Isle of Wight from film makers, ARTE. If this does not want to make you stay here, nothing will :) https://www.arte.tv/en/videos/080495-003- A/isle-of-wight/

Happy Mother's Day! Treat mum to lunch at one of the amazing restaurants or pubs in Ventnor followed by a stroll along the beach. Perfect!

One of Ventnor's hidden gems... Steephill Cove is just a 20 minute walk from our accommodation. This pretty little beach is only accessible by foot, so pack a picnic or pop in to the restaurant or cute cafe.

The chilly sunny air makes for a perfect brisk walk along Ventnor Seafront. Then, what could be better than heading back to one of our cosy beach houses and sipping on a hot chocolate while looking out over the beautiful English Channel. Sound good? Well what can I say, gorgeous in the sun with the bustling crowds and still great in the winter with the wind and crashing waves. As soon as you come down the cascade that view is amazing any time of the year! ❤️ A gem of a place!

Ventnor is a nice seaside resort Ive been going there for years I love the Isle of Wight but Ventnor has a very nice beach lovely restaurants and a great views it's my favourite place

User

Ventnor is a lovely sandy Beach. With great views. It's a shame that a few of the shops have gone. Hopefully they will open sometime in the future. My grandson loved fishing off the sea wall.

User

This could be the English seaside as it used to be please don't spoil it with shite hotels, bars and tacky takeaways

User

Such a quirky untouched seaside resort that has retained its charm. Had a holiday home here for 6 years and loved it. Truly a place to relax, unwind and switch off.

User

Lovely beach front location, picturesque with some great little restaurants #spyglass, on a sunny day you could feel as though you were in a Mediterranean resort, clear sea, sandy beach and a great atmosphere. Ideal spot for a wedding shoot!

User

It is beautiful but a very steep hill.i love Shanklin sea front more. But Ventnor is beautiful on a good day, has can be very windy on bad day.

User

Had a lovely breakfast there this morning, then drinks when we came off the beach, then booked up for dinner on Wednesday 13 of us should be fun

User

User

Beautiful place great people great food great beaches what more could you want X

User

Beautiful little bay with a sandy beach. It has a variety of food eateries and the usual Beach shops and ice cream kiosks. There is a children's paddling pool here that is of Victorian era. Boat trips and fishing trips. A small harbour where you can buy freshly cooked ocean fish. A skateboard park and children's play park looks out from west side of the bay across towards the beach. Quite content to while a way the hours here every day of the week ... Idyllic both day and evening. I love nothing more than sitting out in the evening supping a glass of wine looking out over a moon lit Bay x I couldn't be without this Bay in my life

User

Beautiful beach and tranquil surroundings with plenty of shops to brouse around and pub on end to look out at the sea

User

Absolutely fab yesterday and so hot! Spyglass inn delicious food and the Mr whippy ice cream from little gift shop delightful. Lots of seating. Lots of facilities for the beach

User

We been here several time over the years but this is the first time we been back in five years . Had a full morning there in the sunshine, breakfast at the quay. Fab in the sunshine and just outside the paddling pool of the isle. My son loved that even at 10 years old walking around the isle in the water fab.

Drawback car park prices why do seaside resorts think it perfectly fine to inflate the price per hour. Best value was the tourist parking ticket at just over £5 a day for 4 days worth purchasing.

Shame so many shops closed or empty. On a positive note the people and the place make it.

We will be back again just to see what's changed after seeing the run down area of sandown just hoping things pick up for the resorts.

User

Unfortunately the day we were there this year the weather was a bit wild.

We have been several times before and it is a very nice resort. Plenty to see and do.

User

Still has its charm ,some nice cafes starting to appear. It does need to redevelop some of the scruffier bits ...

User

A fantastic seafront, it offers marvellous, food. drink and accommodation.

It has good beaches for family and fishing, it has it's own marine harbour and fisheries. What's not to like. See for yourself.
