Fantastic statue with stunning views - ilfracombe really is a stunning location with this beautiful thought provoking piece dominates the harbour.

Love Verity! Beautifully morbid, very divisive and imposing Damien Hirst sculpture.

A beautiful statue which is easily accessible for everyone.

Mmmh. Not the most appropriate and fantastic piece of art at a seaside town. On the other hand, typical Damien Hurst - cool in it's own right.

The stature looks awesome! It's cool to see the baby inside her belly. I like that she symbolises truth and justice cause it fits. The scale in her hand shows justice and the torn skin the truth (cause you can see everything (literally!))

Also the cliffs there are stunning and you can make a historic tour on a lifeboat! And a parking area is there too.

Standing at 66.4ft, this thing is 66ft taller than it should be. It is ugly, not on just one side but both. Until it was placed there, the pier end was a nice place to walk down. Not been down there since. If one thing spoils the beauty of Ilfracombe, it is this monstrosity. Damien Hirst is a morbid and disturbed individual. This thing deserve no stars.

Brings tourists to the town and it's quite tall. A strange image doesn't really make sense to me.

It is a love or hate statue but I like it. You can park right next to it or go for a walk. A very nice location for tourists and locals

Didn't even know if this statues existence until I parked up next to it late one September evening. Looked up and immediately wished I'd been at the council planning meeting when this was approved. Awesome....! Went back the following day to photograph it at sunrise. We need more things like this.
