Multi-award winning Film Director, Ian Vernon has developed an individual "method" of teaching screen acting.
Like most styles of acting, Ian's method is adapted from a rich source of past approaches: Strasberg's Method, Stella Adler, and Sanford Meisner.
Ian has adapted from these masters and incorporated his own methodology.

His hands-on experience directing actors in his UK and Los Angeles film productions enables him to pass on the technical skills and tricks of the trade that you would not receive in many (if any) other acting workshops.

In the intimate setting of his small classes you will be nurtured and gain valuable inside knowledge.
Perhaps more importantly, you will receive honest critiques and clear direction to improve not only your acting ability, but your range and cast ability.
Through regular opportunity to observe yourself (on camera) acting on-screen you will also learn, with Ian's guidance, to effectively critique your own performance and see yourself improve on camera over the weeks of instruction.

Classes are one evening a week, with a maximum of 9 actors in a class.

Ian has directed or coached actors who have appeared in: Outlander, Coronation Street, The Bill, National Treasure II, West Wing, Looking For Eric, Angel, CSI, Hollyoaks, Waterloo Road, Holby City, Criminal Minds, Sons of Anarchy, League of Gentlemen.

The goal is to help you become a better, more natural screen actor.
