Fantastic antenatal course for those pregnant after loss.
Very eloquent blog on grief.."Grief is love with no place to go". X
How companies support their employees through miscarriage & loss is so very important and can make such a difference to their grief. It's not just women that need to be considered, men too are affected and need to be thought about as well. X
I've just seen my last client before my holidays and I am feeling excited!!!
I look forward to seeing you all upon my return.
I'll be on a digital detox for two weeks but you can always book in via my easy online booking system.
... Adios!

The Bub Hub is a N Somerset group of information and advice.
I'm absolutely horrified listening to these poor women's experiences. Also absolutely astonishing is the medical history of performing operations on black slaves by American pioneers in the field of obstetrics & gynecology - just appalling. There are so many problems with this white patriarchal system of 'care'.
Interesting research on alcohol.
My deepest apologies to all my clients I've had to cancel this week due to illness. I'll be in touch next week once I'm better. XMy deepest apologies to all my clients I've had to cancel this week due to illness. I'll be in touch next week once I'm better. X
I'm feeling so very sad, grumpy and disappointed.
Today was my very last day working from the wonderful Alma Vale Centre in Clifton. I've been there for exactly 3 years and every client who I have seen from there has been an utter delight to work with. I've worked with some truly inspirational acupuncturists specialising in women's health as well as other extremely talented practitioners and friends. I will miss working from this special little clinic in Clifton very much.
...The Alma Vale Centre was where my massage journey first began as it's the place I took my practical MTI holistic massage exam about 10yrs ago which I passed with flying colours despite being poorly and having a bad cough...……. which leads me on spookily......
I was so looking forward to seeing my full clinic of regular clients today, hugging practitioners and ritually closing the door, however, unfortunately somehow and for some reason a nasty and brutal virus has shaken all the life out of me this week and left me broken (with a nasty lingering cough!!!!)
I had to very sadly cancel all my clients on my final day which really has upset me not only because I hate letting people down but also because they have all been part of my AV journey and they mean so much to me. I know I will see them all again but this wasn't how I was expecting to spend my final day there.

The amazing cervix, did you know it changes position at different stages in your cycle and in pregnancy?
Air pollution affecting fertility as well as the health of the unborn baby.
Male fertility and mobile phones. 5G technology is also a huge concern to fertility.
A brilliant bit of reading.
The Rewind Technique is a really gentle yet effective way of revisiting a traumatic event or memory using guided hypnosis and visualisation.
I have been using this technique for birth trauma and I have also used it for some of my clients who have very sadly had to give birth to sleeping babies.
The technique has helped unpick memories from intense feelings surrounding their experiences. This has allowed them to revisit and process their birth very gently with love and compa...ssion.
Please get in touch of you would like to know more about this really safe, gentle and effective technique for trauma and loss.

An end to the extremly unfair postcode lottery for IVF? I do hope so especially when the first round seems so experimental.
Reflexology for hayfever, there is no end to the wonderful benefits to reflexology.
Lymph system, hormones and the body. In my reflexology sessions I use lymph drainage techniques to assist the transportation of hormones & to help the removal of toxins.
According to new research, those who undergo IVF have a 27.1 per cent possibility of the procedure resulting in pregnancy. Meanwhile, those who undergo a ICSI have a 24.3 per cent chance of conceiving. Interesting statistics but try not to get hung up on them as you are unique and it's impossible to quantify and qualify a couples unique history. However, why this is useful? May be question whether the more expensive ICSI treatment is actually really necessary. It makes sense that when the egg receives and allows the sperm to penetrate this natural selection at the very start of life is better all round. However ICSI is very useful when there is male factor issues. X
