Do you know the story behind the Help for Heroes bracelets?
So the story goes, there were two best friends, both in the armed forces, who were in a trench. One of them was injured. They wanted something to remember each other by, so one of soldiers took his parachute cord and a button off his uniform, he wound it to make a friendship bracelet and used the button to fasten it. He gave it to his friend, so that he would always remember him. To this day they are still made out o...f parachute cord and are shared between soldiers, both male and female.
For every bracelet sold, a donation goes to the Help For Heroes fund.
