I experienced a Hollywood wax for the first time and I had an eyelash extensions beauty treatment. I thoroughly enjoyed experience, Becky was a wonderful beautician to talk to me through my first time. I would highly recommend.

I always come here now as I have found other salons intimidating and pretentious. Its always a real treat to come even if for a hollywood. But when hubby babysits for long enough I treat myself to a pedicure. Pure Heaven! I bought my friend a back massage as a treat and she said it was the best she had received in a long time. Staff friendly and welcoming.

Booked a Dermalogica facial. The person who did it gave no evidence of any training in beauty therapy. She didn't speak after starting and tried to remove my necklace without asking permission. Gave me no warning of what she was doing and three times sprayed my face, shoulders and hair with a cold perfumed spray without warning me. Kept kicking the couch throughout. Took the hairband off without explanation and started to massage my neck and scalp without my permission even though I had told her I had a scalp skin problem. Manager phoned me later to ask if I was unhappy about the facial. Without asking for any details about my disatisfaction she offered a free facial with someone else. I declined as I wouldn't want to return there.

At first the experience was great, I arrived on time and the lovely host offered me cold water and to wait in a more breezy area as the weather was super hot.
Then my appointment was delayed by 25 minutes!!! I had booked a Hollywood and half leg treatments.
She started with the Hollywood but it definitely didn't finish the job, she did a Brazilian instead. I thought maybe I booked the wrong treatment. Then the beautician says I'm done, so I told her i also booked the half leg.
With the half leg I've never experienced so much pain! I thought she was going to rip my skin off! She blamed the hot weather.... It also felt so unprofessional when she had to go out and back in like 5 times to get the wax, the tweezers, the paper, etc.
Then i had to pay £50!! Which i couldn't pay by card as the card machine wasn't working and i wasn't told when i first came in. So overpriced!
To top it up, the next morning i find she left patches on my legs! Very nice looking place but very disappointing service.

I had a bad experience here today. 1. Arrived on time to a locked salon and had to wait outside until the therapist arrived. She apologised, which was good, but I still had to wait another 15 mins for my treatment. 2. In addition to the bikini wax I had booked, I also got booked in for an IPL patch test without requesting it, as part of what felt like a hard sell. 3. The therapist didn't ask what I wanted at any point and the treatment felt rushed and was painful (I hadn't experienced this level of discomfort with a high bikini wax before). 4. The therapist quickly finished and left the room without asking if I was happy with the treatment (I wasn't - it was uneven) and she didn't remove all the sticky wax residue. I had to get dressed, go out into the main salon and ask her to come back to the treatment room so I could get undressed again and she could remove all the leftover wax. I also said I was worried because I hadn't had this much redness and bleeding before, she apologised and gave me some aloe vera to take home which helped the situation a bit. 5. I then paid £15 for the treatment which is well overpriced for a high bikini wax in my opinion (last few times I paid £10 elsewhere nearby). All in all it was a pretty negative experience unfortunately.

Lovely salon with friendly and professional staff. I've been going for over 3 years for a deep tissue back massage with Kate and it's the best I've had! I used to get headaches from back and neck pain from working at a computer and by having a regular massage I no longer get them. Have recommended to lots of people.

Excellent!!! Staff were extremely warm and welcoming, the salon is beautiful, especially the sunny secret garden! A real treat and lovely surprise to relax in with a drink after by far one of the best facials I have ever had! The owners attention to detail is second to none, even down to pretty ribbon on individual bottles of cold water delivered on a silver tray! I can see how this salon won its five star status!
